I've never done this job on the bench. Looks easier and harder is some ways.

I have seen many things, this is not among them. I think you are correct regarding the size of the opening for the studs being too large. Possibly the quality of the metal is substandard as well. Honestly I prefer drum brakes over disk, for the simplicity and reliability. The real problem for me with drums is parts availability. This is a set back for you and it sucks. But so long as you have the facilities, tools and desire to get it done, it's a good day. Maybe not ideal but good.

The only TitLow I see is my grandma's as she scoots around the house.

The classic battle. Multiple wobbly or loose parts, awkward position needing an extra elbow or wrist, blind or hidden target. Usually I have to pee pretty bad too. You have patience.

So take this as you want, as a Carb manifold for the g3 , the Mod Man sux......, single 4, Dual 4, 6pak.....doesn't matter. Best all round Carb intake for these G3s is OCPerformance Dual plane, even Holley's new single plane cast Alum intake just can't keep up with the potential of the OEM EFI intakes or the OCP intake, OCP intake in Carb form makes more HP and a better Tq average than the Holley(single plane) EFI it's about as good as you can get if hood clearance is an issue, in EFI form it's as good as the OEM 5.7 intake and pulls harder up top, the 6.4 intakes beat the Mod man in average Hp and Tq (stock cam) but lose at the 6500-7000k range. EFI hardware out of Australia makes a 4bbl to GM Tb plate that can be used for the OEM hemi Tb(w/mods) As a roots style supercharger manifold , it's(Mod man) a great manifold, actually it's just as strong as BDS's G3 hemi intake. 417 Motorsports makes an Adaptor to put the Holley HI ram tops on to the Mod man........the Standard front mount Hi Ram top with a 87MM Tb makes great power from 5k-7500 RPMs . so with that all being said, as a point a to be Daily the Mod man will fit what you're looking for here, just don't waste any time trying to get the plugs even in color.

There is a some place that will test them, but I think i They have a fee to test it. You have to send it to them and they will let you.

Put a magnet on it if it makes any contact it could be.

This is a very cool car. I'd be interested in what is involved in getting one of these highly computerized engines to work outside of its natural habitat. All that computerized garbaldigook kinda scares me. How "old school" can you go with it?
