Hello ma just for clarity...i thought elastic pants we are to use our hips on our waist so the pants can pass through..... please explain to me why tou used your actual waist plus 0.5 ....i will try your method i love it ....i just want to know the reason behind your method ma ....not that anything is wrong
@OreoluwaS.IАй бұрын
Hi ma, this is how I know how to cut mine. You can go ahead and use your hip measurement on your waist if that makes it easy to wear, I was able to wear mine easily even tho I use my actual waist measurement

I think there are other ways you can but this is the only one I know I have another detailed video on how to cut a cowl neck you can check that out

Did you add allowance when cutting your bodies ? Cause it the other video where you made a full gown with cowl neck you cut the upper bodies exactly as it is here you only added 4 inches allowance to your hips ... I just want to know if you added the allowance here for the upper bodies

Hi ! When you say you add 3inch or 4inch, do you add it to the total hip or bust measurement or do you divide your measurement by 4 first and then add the 3 or 4 inch ? Loved the dress, and trying to recreate it !
