0:42 Hah, I can't unhear the sonic ring sound effect. For me, this would be cool to hear on native hardware. The sound effects from all the stuff going on in race would get in the way of the composition. That, in turn, would make me want to earn the secret sound test so I could listen to it whenever I want.

great cover, the noise and pulse channels sounds exactly like the commodore version(i don't know why the official one is just static and wrong pulse width) the sawtooth sounds kinda iffy with the parts that don't have a note every 2 rows but I'm not sure if you can change the volume so understandable

I'm using 0CC-Famitracker, which lets you use more than just one expansion chip at one time.

@@TheRealHedgehogSonicin this case it's redundant since you don't need a Famicom disk system when you already have a Namco 163, it can make good music on its own.

@@BlackbeltHitoshi No it's not. The N163 gets weaker in how many unique waveforms it can play at one time the more channels you assign to it. Additionally, the FDS channel supports bigger waves (6-bit 64 step vs. 4-bit malleable step), and has FM-esque capabilities that normal WSG chips don't usually come with.

@@TheRealHedgehogSonicI'm not an advocate for mixing multiple sound chip expansions, except if those chips are made by the creator of the system itself. That's why I give you a pass. But Namco 163 sounds way better than any Famicom disk system instrument I have.
