Get show !!! I have lots of OG’s and love them, it’s on deck ever time I’m out fishing cause they work great for Lanier spots and even the large mouth eat them there too. It was great to see Ryan on your show. He is right , the Cast Brad made a great difference in casting distance for sure !! Totally recommend the 50lbs line for it !!!!

i just happened to buy one of those stick baits from BPS and i thought it was weird that it was so similar to elastek it sunk like a rock so it wasn’t the application i was looking for yesterday but im excited to use it more just so funny this video comes out after i buy it having never seen it before

I must be crazy cause I wouldn't consider this giving up the juice. I thought the Baby Zee Too was a well established bait just like the Z-Man StreakZ . I remember them being sold out all the time last year cause they were so popular. How about the Z-Man Power Finesse jig paired up with the TRD BugZ that's some under the radar juice or the Caffeine Shad in Siren for spotted bass and smallmouth 😊

I think it’s a bait that gets lost in translation a lot due to Maxscent, and those who know about it don’t really talk about it. That’s all. Thanks for tuning in’

You guys really feel like this is a secret. I don't know. I feel like a lot of guys have been recommending this as a dropshot bait. I'm guessing that's why they came out with morning dawn cause I'm pretty sure that wasn't around last year.

@@LureLabPodcast sunline almight, it has totally changed my finesse fishing. I can keep baits in the strike zone longer. It’s thinner than most braid, so 11lb is more like 8lb.

I'm a fairly new viewer of your channel. I really like how get in depth on the topics. This was my favorite video so far. Really great information and so refreshing to see a lure maker that doesn't just sell and make you think you need five of everything he makes in ten different colors. I would be really great if you could have him come back and go over spinner baits. Tru South makes for good one's. I think both of you are similar in that you don't need to over complicate techniques. Throw what gets bit. That's how to do it. Thanks great job 👍

Just listening to this via podcast. I’m not an expert but I believe the presence of a bubble trail has to do with barometric pressure. High pressure doesn’t allow for the creation of the bubbles

More IPT is your best friend with glides for sure. That and a moderate rod, along with ewg triple grip hooks equals more fish landed. The Eco first came out with round bend hooks, then soon switched to the ewg style.

I have used them with good success out here in the west (CA). LM, Spots, & Smallies all love these depending on the Lake I’m fishing., I slow crawl them on the bottom for best results (just my presentation). You’re giving away the only secret I have left ! 😖😖😠😠 . . . , 😂😂🤣🤣. I’m using a med/hvy fiberglass (e-glass) rod.

Fantastic bait that catches more than smallies as I catch walleye with them as well. One negative I have found is the eyes come off really easy so I take all my dark sleepers out and super glue the eyes and then repack them back in their clam shell. This way they last wven longer. A tip I found out from another KZbin about 2 years ago. Helped a ton.

They work in the rivers of the south east, smallmouth slayer! They look like our native Madtom or several different suckers that live in the streams and rivers here. They could also pass for a young Hellbender salamander since the rivers are so shallow and the lures bounce off the rock bottom.

I live in Florida and there's not a Gobi living anywhere close to here, but the Dark Sleeper still catches them and I love it! I think it's also worth mentioning the Megabass Dark Sleeper rod is awesome, and one of the most versatile rods Megabass makes! The rod is absolutely perfect for the smallest magdraft, and other swimbaits. I have also done well with the Z-Man Gobius down here, its made out of elastech so it's more durable.....FishOn.....jimi

I fish them a fair amount. I think of it almost as a slower speed Biffle bug but faster than a football head. Catches SM and LM just as well. My lakes supposedly don't have Goby.. I use mostly the mid size and throw it on a 7'6" MH mod fast with braid to flouro.
