Kizan can get 2100atk with 2 other samurais in field, Grandmaster is 2100atk and enters easy too Enishi and dual wield can return him to hand Shien sincro is easy summon Has a common light samurai that can destroy faceup monster after he battleded him

There's also the tutor draw method of using the Emissary with Sangan + Call of the Haunted and using Tomatoes to recruit into them and the exodia pieces. By also running 3 Toon Cannon Soldier with 3 Toon Table and 3 Last Will, you can also cheat them out even faster by just sacking Cannon Soldier. Then you can up the number of copies of Dark Factory and Monster Reincarnate to have a better deal on it. You should generally avoid setting pieces though because BLS and D.D. Warriors. There's been plenty of games where I just have all the pieces on my 3rd turn while also being able to grind with recruiters.

A spicy take would be to take out some of the fringe (reaper, jammer) for +1 shallow grave, +1 CED, and +2 lava golem. They have a Blowback Dragon or a BLS stifling your board? Give them a monster, give them a golem, and then take it back.

Great idea with the Baron storyline! I think I would go even further - if we're including customs, then some of the original cards could use an edit. Ex. Bump Gorg to 2100 ish attack; get rid of Combination's damage reduction so that it actually wins the game; and make Burglars a Fusion monster with an actually good effect. I'm thinking like: - Requires 2+ Dark Scorpion monsters (or Don Zaloog) - Its ATK becomes 800 x number of materials, so takes 3 to be a big threat - If destroyed, Special Summon 1 of its materials from the GY (or just 1 non-Fusion scorpion) - And when it deals damage, you can choose either: Mill 2 cards times the number of materials; or some high impact effect, ex. steal a card from the opponent's hand. Obviously this version of Burglars is a bomb for its time, but I actually don't think it's overpowered (still easily stopped by removal or like, Gravity Bind). And probably still has less text than Relinquished lol.

EDITOR'S NOTE: We apologize for a gameplay errors in Game 2 where My Body as a Shield negates the effect of Swarm of Scarabs but Alessio forgets to move Scarabs to the graveyard. While an extra body on board is a nontrivial advantage, it's very unclear if or how this affected the rest of the game. Scarabs did not destroy any further monsters with its effect, and neither monster on Alessio's side of the field at the time of the error were used as tribute summon material. We'll let you draw your own conclusions and, once again, sorry for the slip (Alessio was VERY COLD during filming).

I've been testing it on Dueling book, so far I would say a have a 60% win rate however I didn't know about how was the ruling during the goat day (neither my opponents) so I have to go back to square one and play some more. I changed dustshoot for Duo but I side it out if I need to. Also I side out opppression but other times I play both oppression and skill drain. Against chaos turbo if I don't draw the floodgates immediately, I get bodied very hard but when I don't brick it's been pretty good, some people don't know how ha des works or newdoria plus creature swap I added to the side deck 1 goat and 1 meta for creature swap shenanigans and to defend against return and dimension fusion decks. hysteric fairy, des wombat share the pain for panda burn. Finally ceasefire because sometimes comes in handy against defensive decks and dustshoot because sometimes I prefer it over duo for mind games. Overall It has been fun playing with the deck and I will try to fine tune it a little bit thanks to the comments, I want to also add that I have been gettin better results with matches rather than singles but as I said I need to learn the deck more :D

Great data, thanks for reporting back! The element of surprise is certainly a huge factor. And agree, sometimes you want all the floodgates, sometimes they slow you down, and one thing I enjoy is how smoothly you can transifgure between games in a match

It's me again with another report, lately I've been playing more and now I could say that I have a 30% winrate at most, I had a 20 loose-streak yesterday so I'm seriously considering on making some big changes or dropping the deck entirely. I recognize that sometimes it's because I bricked or I miss-played Burn decks in general are the worst enemy of this deck, unless you draw immediately the side deck, gravity bind it's a kick in the balls Chaos turbo/dimension gate/earth aggro it depends a lot what I draw, sometimes the floodgates stop them completely, other times I draw them too late. Rouge decks: the sheer amount of variety that is around dueling book it's impressive, it's difficult to side deck when you are the one affected by the surprise factor, even one match I lost against "hino-kagu-tsuchi turbo" After I made the previous comment, I added strike ninja and lightning vortex sidding out 1 ha des and necrofear because most of the time that I could summon necrofear I had oppression on field. It's still happening a lot that my opponents don't know that you CANNOT use oppression to negate germ or tomato Even though I don't regret the statement that I had fun, that humongous bad luck streak seriously demotivated me to keep trying that much more this deck. I hope that someone else try this deck, fine tunning it and to let us know if that happen :D

Sorry it wasn't working out for you - it seems like retro formats have picked up a lot of steam over the past year since we made this vid and people's creativity has really shaken up Goat. Burn decks have definitely gotten a lot more consistent as people have gotten more familiar with the play patterns of other common decks. All decks are living and in flux and that's part of the fun!

I also recommend taking the Heart of The Underdog approach, you have a ton of normal monsters to draw into, and the Exodia pieces (minus Exodia’s head) count as normal monsters. So theoretically you can draw until you have all of the pieces a hell of a lot easier

I have fun with that variant now and then, but at the end of the day, it's just RNG. If you hit, you win, if you don't, your hand is pure brick. I built this in part because I wanted an Exodia deck that interacted with the board and was somewhat skilltesting

few things: night assailant is limited to 1, no? also, shallow grave SS in face down def, so you cant compulse the set card

This is a Goat Format deck, so Night Assailant is semi-limited. Compulsory has always been able to target any monster on the field, regardless of face/position

Hey bro what a nice idea for a video. It got me thinking about an idea of my own. I play only fiend decks in goat format so I will also think of my own fiend structure deck with a couple of custom cards of my own. They have to of course be scaled in power to the other cards in goat format.

Like I say in the video, it's an Exodia deck. It can win, but it will never be as consistent as other decks. That said, it has a really good matchup against the popular Goat Control, which plays slowly enough to give you the time to piece together your engines.
