That looks awesome my guy what did you use panel liner, enamels, or oils.
@benchlife93753 ай бұрын
Hey Loganski ...on this one so far I used The panel liner (black), Tamiya's weathering powders and winsor and Newton oils (black, white and raw umber) 👊.
@loganski_21583 ай бұрын
@@benchlife9375 I remember starting off with panel liner for aircraft but then a switched to oils. I love the 502 oils but I recently got some newton oils from a imps meeting.
@benchlife93753 ай бұрын
@@loganski_2158 Yeah I heard good things about the 502 starship filth ....I also like flory's dark dirt clay based wash but it got to expensive here in the states for me (i got very little left im saving)I thin my tamiya panel liner and w&n oils with odorless white spirits from wally world. The weathering powders work good aswell for exhaust and general staining.
@loganski_21583 ай бұрын
@@benchlife9375 yeah there expensive but are worth it but hey I’m the end oils are oils. Understand trying to save money.
@benchlife93753 ай бұрын
@@loganski_2158 true ....oils are good price it's the florys model wash that's pricey I think it's over 20$ with shipping from high altitude scale models is the only distributor in the states I believe. And getting it from the UK is out of the question. I pick up my oils from micheals here locally. A tube will last forever so it's great value.. I did about 4 or 5 models with the florys so I wish I went a lil further but still a really nice wash.
