They can get up to 35 lbs.; depends on the parents of the pup and as low as 5 lbs.

@@LaurieHummel you want to make sure that the tugs from the human are firm but light. The dogs teeth are not set in yet. So your not trying to rip it out of your pups mouth. Confidence is huge so make sure that you are not focused on winning. But you are focused on playing together. Does your pup know drop?

How did his school go? To do this you start out by showing your dog to go to their "place". Reward them as soon as they get onto it. Do not allow your dog to get off of place until you say so. Once your dog understands that place is rewarding you begin to delay the reward and add in distractions. Later you reward with play instead or food or praise instead of food. We would love to hear how your dog did!

I am thinking about having some train my dog (so like training lessons) because my mini poodle only does what I want him to do when I have a treat in my hand... and he always gets super energetic when someone knocks/rings the doorbell and then he starts jumping on them. And some of extended family are scared of dogs... Here are the things he knows (but he only does it on command sometimes) sit, shake, laydown and he can only enter a room with my permission (only really our bedrooms) this is what I want him to learn... To go to his "place" aka his crate when I tell him to mostly only when guest come or when we are eating because he jumps on us when we are eating... To learn how sit, shake etc on command, to learn how to roll over, play dead, and to walk on a leash (he kinda does know how to walk on a leash but he gets distracted by flowers and stuff like that which i guess it normal...
