I still can't get it: what is it, that makes Jeff's backbeat so unique?
@TDenanderАй бұрын
@@doeni2 it’s the one thing you can’t teach or learn. The combination of EXACTLY every part of his mind, understanding of music and art, musicality, technique etc

All albums are out digitally and the last two, X.X.X and RESET are pretty easy to find on CD. Discogs has most them for sale I've seen open.spotify.com/artist/0dJTaF53YckA3cz5o6Kyoy?si=LkWUc597QjaTaShc3gAL_A

Love this footage. What a lineup! Jeff is such an inspiration, as are all of them and you of course! I also remember that my dad (Bernt Ek) did some demos with you some 30 years ago that were pretty awesome too. 👍👍😃

Yes your dad sings backing vocals on the very first song that was ever released by Radioactive called "Remember My Conscience" :)

I idolize this guy. I almost bought his Tipple ukulele from the estate sale when he died. I wish sessions still happened. I read and studied jazz but could never try to make a living at it these days.

I realize you and Luke both play the same instrument, but I wonder why he didn't contribute some rhythm work. Mike Landau was involved....

Radioactive is my solo project so I play 95% of all guitars on all albums. Sometimes I had guest guitarist play solos :)

I like Steve Gadd,Jr Robinson, Vinnie,Dave, Purdie and all those studio drummer legends but only Jeff Porcaro can rock the drums like this. His feel and groove seperates him from others especially with this kind of genre.

I buyed this DVD as a second hand about a year ago. Paid 100 Dollars. Worth every penny. The guitar work on these songs is pure masterclass. Have never heard these songs in a better version. From all the guys in the band outstanding playing. And Jimi.... we all know what a exceptional singer he was. Remember the Cobra album he has recorded with my friend Mandy Meyer. 40 years later i listen to the Cobra album at least once a week.

We recorded without click track...and on one song Jeff said "I went up 3 bpm in the choruses to give them a little more push"...I checked when I got home and he went up 3 bpm haha
