Just got my kayak and I am looking for areas to launch. Are these areas free to the public of area they inside a state park?

+Dana Whitfield Dana yes this is a free launch site in the woodlands. You may want to pick up a copy of my book that is now finished! "101 Freshwater Kayak Launching Points" it is available at Academy stores or on line at fishandgamegear.com/ The book covers a lot of spots in east Texas that are free launch points. Have fun with the kayak and be safe!

is this a free boat ramp/parking area?. Any good bass fishing spots around there that I can get to in a little boat with a trolling motor?
