Thank you! The composer is Rebecca Clark. Fun fact- she was one of the first female orchestra members in London. She played viola :)

Excellent! After hearing this, I think even more that you may be heading to be more of a soprano than a mezzo. But who knows? Either way, you've got a beautiful voice!

Sounds good but please forgove me for saying that you look a little apprehensive throughout- maybe focus your eyes on a single point on the horizon - they seem to dart around a little here and so you don't appear to stay in the moment

Thank you so much for the feedback! I have been working on mindfulness in my movements on stage, because "panic mode" definitely sets in when I don't plan ahead :)

@@annagraceroth5353 I am glad you found the feedback helpful. I thoroughly recommend KZbin videos of Barbara Cook masterclasses, in which she challenges technically proficient singers to communicate with the audience, often asking them to forget all they've ever learned. Having seen Ms Cook in performance and conducting master classes, I can vouch for her amazing talent. If you ever get the chance to see Amanda McBroom perform live (she comes to London annually), please treat yourself - I think she is peerless in the art of communication through song. All the best. Peter

The sky above the roof Is calm and sweet A tree above the roof Bends in the heat A bell from out the blue Drowsily rings A bird from out the blue Plaintively sings Ah God! A life is here Simple and fair Murmurs of strife are here Lost in the air Why dost thou weep Oh, heart Poured out in tears? What hast thou done Oh, heart With thy spent years?
