Dude it is definitely a different editing experience. But I feel like you're probably so dialed in for Premiere. No need to switch unless you are not enjoying your process in your current NLE

How long did this actually take… definitely had to creatively plan for this. Great job!
@_jpsinger6 күн бұрын
@@PhoenixIDGroup Thank you! I'd say filming was a couple hours and then maybe 6 or so hours of editing. I definitely already had somewhat of an idea in mind when I started but usually that changes after I have all my footage and see what I'm working with.

Damn, did you storyboard this? The scope of b-roll was massive, it made a sit down interview feel like an entire world. I really enjoyed this video man. The role that images also played in this edit was cool, everything from eye-scans to photos growing up to the cool glasses montage at the end. The use of scaning images in general to convey the reality of best disease was effective, especially the flutter of scan images around 4:10 which really sold that segment. The moments of pause were awesome for pace and got to show off the sound design and music. Speaking of which, sound design is one of your greatest weapons man, well beyond just a tasteful use of wooshes and hits. The dialogue echo was really cool around 3:10, and sound design like heatbeats, scans, and equipment whirling and clicking really help convey Joe's experience. The range of music is cool too, everything from cinematic to sell the intro and workout montage, to ambient music padding out the narrated reflections, to lyrics during the focus on his relationship. The ending hype segment is killer also, 9:25 is a perfect moment haha. Your persistence to find moments like those always turns up in your edits, awesome shit.

Great video! I just sub to your channel. I used to edit with premiere which is a challenging software and it was taking ages to get what I wanted and most of the times I didn’t have the patience to make it how I wanted! I found the CapCut few days ago and I am giving it a go. It’s very easy software but it’s deffo 10x faster and also have lots of plug ins.

I can easily see rough cut and sequence edits as alternative for starters, possible inspiration... doubt as good as a good editor(no way)

Yeah I think that's pretty much already a thing for talking head clips. I'm not entirely opposed to that.

What positives do you notice? Remember, not everything that shines is valuable... Each person's essence is etched in their dreams and daily pursuits, especially in their chosen profession. Yet, the looming shadow of AI replacing human roles casts doubt on our future. It's confounding why some fervently champion innovations that jeopardize our fundamental right to earn a living. Beware, the allure of novelty can exact a devastating toll. Remember. Where does your brain kick into gear? Think about it: When photography came along, it took away some painting gigs, but it also made room for loads of new jobs, like making cameras and developing software. Plus, photography itself sparked a whole bunch of fresh career paths. What amazing job chances do you see, super-smart, when you finish AI tasks with just a little prompt? Give me one or two examples. And can you reassure me that these jobs won't be taken over completely by AI in the future? Could you clarify which area sees a big boost in humanity's quality of life?

Couldn't agree more, damn. So well put in a concise and hilarious way. I still think not enough people are taking this rapidly improving technology serious enough. And I think the people who do worry about and discuss AI in videography to the degree that it's warranted, sadly find themselves falling into a victim mindset and losing hope. Mad props for doing full justice to both attitudes and showing that real concern and a determination to adapt and stay relevant are not mutually exclusive. Much needed, and your realistic yet hopeful thoughts on this will only get more relevant with time. The short hiding-under-desk bit had me rolling, so many clever moments bro keep it up. If your content remains at this level, you will grow an audience. No doubt.

So much heart and wit, love the fact that you still get across an awesome and hilarious story even in a tutorial video. You not only tell but show the importance of story and hit home just how important it is, which emphasizes why you put neglecting it as the #1 mistake. Keep up this quality content and you will grow no doubt. Stay real JP
