That is a nice combo I got the Lew's classic combo with the cork handle but looking at the new one. I just started last year I only use monofilament line is easy to get backlash out 10 lbs to 15 lbs but the best for me is 12 lbs monofilament line

Oh and I forgot to share why I was sharing about the dude that was chumming in the dam…two days later the biggest cat fish popped up for anyone that was fishing. So keep in mind that if someone does chump the waters like that. I recommend that you fish the day after and the day after that.

@@Kecks_Adventures I might be able to help with that…here lately with the jobs I been doing I been finding John boats that looks like hasn’t been used in a while. In fact Monday I am going to ask one person if they want to get rid of it because it truly looks like the boat hasn’t been used in years and grass is growing on it…so I’m going to try and use my bargaining skills to get a great deal on it. If everything is successful…I personally don’t have any problem with sharing a boat with you. I do know you can rent kayaks downtown for 50 bucks…or that’s what someone shared with me….I wouldn’t mind share some fishing experiences with you on the river as well!

@@kimberlyCJCSR yea we had tons of fun, lost one lure, leader, broke one pole, and caught no fish. We still had one hell of a time. Everyone was great on the boat, we had great communication, worked together, made sure we had plenty of water to drink. It was a great time. Next the boys want to shoot a pump action at the range to see what that is like.

@@donaldmiller4386 I wear 13 shoes, it was bigger then that. I take all the help I can get…I am a newly fisherman this year and don’t mind if people want to give some pointers. I have the Indiana Fishing Regulations Guide for 2024-2025. Does it make a difference if it’s from a private lake?

@@BiGJFishing260 But do yourself a favor and get you a tape measure to keep in your tackle box. The DNR wont care if its bigger than your shoe if its only 13 and 3/4 I almost got in trouble once for a fish that was roughly 1/8 inch short.

@@BiGJFishing260 nightcrawlers I can even use trout bait anything normally get any other species they tend to go for effort small enough and then they’ll still your bait off the hook

@@dakutatsu6450 have you tried the grub curly tails lures? After this weekend Im going to share all the baits I used to catch bass out of the river here. That should help out with a starting point.
