The Wolof community of Senegal has a great desire to have cultural relations with its South Sudanese brothers. Being aware of its Nilothic origins as reported by the South Sudanese oral tradition which recalls that: “populations after their migrations from Pharaonic Egypt to the South founded the kingdom of Kush. One of their Chief *Ajang Garang* had three sons: • The eldest *Maa nuer* Ajang Garang is ancestor of the Nuer people • The second son *Dieng Ajang Garang* is the ancestor of the Dinka or Dieng /Jieng people who constitute the majority of the current population of South Sudan 36% • The youngest *Wol Ajang Garang* at the end of the Kingdom of Kush was at the head of a migration towards West Africa and is the ancestor of the Wolofs of Senegal, Mauritania and the Gambia). The Dinka Nuwer community uses the same first and last name as the Wolofs of Senegal and our cultural similarities are very obvious. We request the efforts of our ministries, our customary and traditional guides to do work to facilitate the rapprochement of the Wolof and Dinka-Nuwer peoples.

This song is humorous, am very proud of my Nuer brothers and sisters. Gordon Koang was one of the best musicians in the whole of Sudan before South Sudan separated. Am a Dinka and I love Nuer. I see their culture like mine❤.
My love to South Suadn will remain forevere , Gordon Koang sings to heart , I am a Sudanese from Gedaref in Eastern Sudan
