I agree .We don’t like baiting , but with small acre lots it’s hard to keep deer in the area when your neighbors are baiting as well. Unfortunately baiting is legal in Ohio and you almost have to do it with small acre plots. But thanks for sharing .

Elevate has one of the worst warranties compared to xop and lone wolf. Fit and finish is worse as well. I really wanted to like elevate but they just cant compete without brand loyalty.

Congratulations young man. That's a great first buck. You're such a good big brother. I started hunting at 30 yrs old because of my older brother. I'm 59 and just started bow hunting 6 yrs ago. Still have yet to get one.

That’s awesome! Bow hunting can be very tricky, but the more you do it the better you will become. It is just a matter of time before you get your first deer. We wish you the best of luck the rest of the season. If you shoot one we’d love to see a picture.

@wolfepacoutdoors31153 ай бұрын
We are located more in central Ohio and we see a lot of peak rut activity in the second week of November. Bucks are moving prior but we see a lot of chasing in the second week. Hope that helps and good luck!

I’m 230 lbs and have 3 30’’ sticks and haven’t have any problems with them yet. I’ve had them for two seasons and just bought hang free three step aider for the bottom stick. Only thing I would complain is the pack ability. They came with daisy chain webbing straps.

Man its wild how many hunters think they NEED a tree stand lol its more rewarding to hunt from the ground tracking and not just sitting in a tree waiting day after day for a shot
@wolfepacoutdoors31155 ай бұрын
@@beforedeth2104 I do agree that hunting from the ground is a blast, but in some scenarios being in a tree gives you more shooting lanes, and lets you see way out. As long as your in gods country, wether on the ground or in the air life is good👍🏻
@SB-ed8sc5 ай бұрын
That's where the learning to hunt comes in. You don't go out and pick a random tree and put a stand up in it. You need to scout to find food and water sources, then find the travel lanes and set up on a tree that gives you multiple advantages. But I said all that and I've never hunted from a tree stand. I've always hunted from the ground.

Excellent point about the level steps vs offset at 14:05. It's an important factor for me after injuring my hip socket while setting a hang-on. The medical bills cost me a LOT more than investing in the right sticks from the start.
