Video was made a year ago and since then they've added Krushing blows for some characters

It depends on the character. Some characters only have either a forward or backwards krushing blow. You can check in the moves list.

Go to the characters move list and find the throws. In the details it will tell you the requirements for the krushing blow. For most characters the requirement is that your opponent fails to escape the previous throw.

@@dragonflybeast9906 To break a forward throw you press 2 or 4. For a back throw you press 1 or 3. You trigger the failed escape if you guess wrong and a message that shows up on the side of the screen telling you.

I think it makes it easier/faster to learn what buttons correspond to certain moves so people don't need to know the character right away and can just jump in to learning combos.

Yes, but there's more to it. With a video like this, where there are a bunch of combos, and without timestamps, it's very inconvenient to have to go back to the correct spot in the video to rewatch the same combo many times. Most people won't get it the first time, or be unfamiliar with the moves. Having notations makes it a lot easier to learn. You also don't have to watch the video to learn the combos if you have the notations.

@@ZeranEmpire Ya I just tested it against Talim, Amy and Sophitia and it drops. So that combo doesn't work against characters with small hit-boxes. Thanks for letting me know

@@sjman5456 well my training dummy was mitsurugi so I think that might be on me still

@@ZeranEmpire So I did some testing and that combo drops on a lot of characters. It drops for all the females except 2B, Hilde and Ivy (No idea about Cassandra because I don't have her). For the males it drops on Mitsurugi, Kilik, Geralt, Yoshimitsu, Cervantes and sometimes Voldo. Voldo would randomly drop and I'm not sure why.

They were for the time the video was released. Check description for any discrepancies. I know D'vorah got a throw krushing blow in a recent update.

Ya they changed it so that it doesn't cause a ground stun anymore :/ The 66B+K can be used after if it causes a LH though

Well for one because I did all of this in training mode xD For two, their requirements aren't that hard to meet since all you need is for your opponent to guess wrong on trying to tech out of throw then throwing your opponent again. Some characters like Jax have more specific requirements for their KB where you need to have full heat in order to do the KB. You can check the requirements in the moves list but keep in mind that not all characters have throw KBs.

The way to do that is to go into the Practice mode, pause, and then press PRACTICE OPTIONS, and then click easy Krushing blows and hit P1 so you can easily do them.

It's the same as most of the others. It triggers if the opponent failed a throw escape during the previous throw. Remember that her Krushing blow is only off of a toward throw and that you can actually check the Krushing blow requirements by viewing it in the moves list.

Failed a throw escape like you go to throw them then they escape then you do it?

@@darrenkumar7263 No you throw them and they fail the escape, then you throw them again for the krushing blow.

@@darrenkumar7263 If you go through the tutorial it explains it fully in there. Basically though, if you are grabbed then you have a chance to break out of it. For forward throws you can break out of it by pressing 2 or 4 and for back throws 1 or 3. You fail the escape if you attempt to break out and guess incorrectly.

Nice find! Definitely better damage and means that the combo I use should be for ringouts.

I mean these are still optimal and any deviations are situational to my knowledge. Is there something specific you're referencing? One combo I don't have in here is 6B+K A 6K.

Sjman ok cool. I’m pretty new to this character on SC6 so I didn’t know if any of the post patch buffs might have open or changed so combo options for him.

​@@Hetoo0ld As far as I know there wasn't any huge changes except in the patch released today where he gets a projectile during SC B+K B that adds a curse on block and hit. Something I didn't do is add combos pertaining to his time stops so I'd check for some of those if you're looking to really understand the character.

I'd recommend not mashing because that won't be consistent enough. Since its a just frame it means theres an exact timing to it so right as that second hit connects then you press B.

Only certain moves have an additional input that allow them to time stop. It just adds more recovery frames to the actual block that can make an unsafe move safe such as his 1B. Without TS its -20 frames on block so it can be full combo punished by anyone, however with TS1 (thats one curse applied), it becomes -10 frames on block and is much safer.

@@sjman5456 I see, so far I gotten on combo down pat which I call my guard punisher (which I need two curse ) it's the reversal edge into the "Y" (sorry for my lack of terminology of so l caliber and I'm on Xbox) to pull them in the freeze time into the ult (which I believe adds another curse after the animation) is there any other combos I should try to get into

​@@jadengremory6606I would say you should definitely learn the basic launcher combo off of 3B because its going to be your main big punish and, as it so happens, you can also get the launcher from his reversal edge BB that you just mentioned. The ultimate does place 1 curse on the opponent even if its blocked.

If you play against opponents who ukemi often, 22/88 B will create somewhat consistent opportunities after stunning them on the ground with 2A+B
