So, I do have a question about this. You're running this locally, but the software was written by someone, and it's a very involved bit of software. Have you pried into its activity to make sure it's not uploading any info about your activities to a third party somewhere? No suspicious network packets, etc.?

Am i the only person running into an issue with the NVIDIA-smi.exe im on an acer laptop windows 11 is it just not compatible or is there a work around any advice would be much appreciated i downloaded the smi.exe but i keep getting this error NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running. and i have the latest driver already so im not sure what to do here

Most employers, at least in the coding fields get around this "no degree required" by forcing you to answer advanced algorithm questions during a very lengthy interview process, even if the job is to do simple web work (nothing to do with algorithm development). They do this because Google does it, and if Google does it so should everybody else. They think it's the only way to get good developers. So if you're excited about this video, study your algorithms and sign up for something like Hacker Rank or you'll never make it through the interview process.

I am a software engineer with over 30 years of experience. My degree is in psychology. I didn't plan on going into IT, it just turns out that's what I'm good at, and I didn't find that out until I graduated and couldn't get a job in psychology without a Ph.D. If I had studied computer science in college, they would have taught me Fortran on a mainframe, OS theory (on an IBM mainframe), and maybe a database like CICS. None of these skills are useful today. Modern CS degrees are applied math degrees which are independent of the specific skills needed in IT. Those you are supposed to learn "on the job", but who would you rather hire? Someone who is good at math but has no skills and must be fully trained? Or someone out of a bootcamp that already knows what to do but can't solve the three-body problem using Google docs in a 15-minute interview?
