Sarna has been the biggest help for me but I'll try the L-phenylalanine. If that doesn't work, I'll find a specialist chiro for the C5 & C6 vertebrae. If that doesn't work, I'm going to look into prolotherapy with Dr. Hauser in Ft. Myers, Fl.

I have not heard of sarna but will look into it. For the first time since all this started I am having it on both arms now. I am still taking the L-phen, and it's not quite as intense but it is itching on both arms. I have found that when the itching starts it seems to be because my posture is not very good. When I straighten my back it does help after a bit. So it goes to show you it is something with the spine/nerves. I probably need to see a chiro but they are so expensive. Thanks for the comment. Jesus healed me from depression, addiction, and numerous disease. It was a process of trusting the Lord to bring me through the pain of trauma and letting go of medications and drugs and alcohol and giving it all to Him. No one can give anyone flack about this, God sent His Word and we were healed. I am living proof-and so are you. I have shared this with a few people who would rather take meds than trust in the Lord, and give it to Him, read His Word and be healed. It is such a true joy and I love Him so much! I have been truly healed, I am healthy and whole; He is our Great Physician, the lover of our soul! God bless you.

How is your Brachioradial Puritis? I also suffer from this and it’s horrible. I do what’s called nerve flossing and on your recommendation I take the D, L Phalananine and the numbing cream. I don’t know if my case is worse than yours but it still wakes me up every night. Do you have any other insights?

I hardly had it at all last year. So I quit taking the L-phen. Then in Sept 2023 we went to the beach for a week and it came back. The sun, mostly a sunburn, really is what triggers mine. I've been taking the L-phen, icing and lidocaine. This time it seems more in my upper right arm than the lower arm. It is getting better now that the weather is changing but I do have to ice at night some. I often wonder if an acupuncturist would help. That might be something to look into.

I also had the itchy arms for 5 years, also used ice & cooling gel for relief but then a lady on a face book group for itchy arms told me about L-phenylenanine. It took 3 weeks before it started to work but since then it has been like magic - no more itchy arms. It is hardly know about by doctors or research so thanks for spreading the word.

Plus you've trained yourself during that time how to live on less. Now all that extra money goes to savings, even if you spend 10% of that new found savings now that the mortgage is gone will feel like you're luxuriating yourself.

I get intense flare ups after working in our community garden. I live in Central Texas and we have extreme sun and heat. Both forearms are affected, but seems to be worse on my left. And icing relieves it. I started wearing long sleeve men's white tshirts when I'm in the garden, and it really helps. It's really weird that this is caused by a problem in the neck area, who knew?
