How is this a 1974 concert and I hear a 1977 "Animals" song?

We keep posting the cover band questions, because they always throw so many fake bands posing as that particular group like ABBA; Sabbatical nonsense and an all Jap Beatles cover act listing it as the real deal ( just to name a few) that’s why we do it.

Thank you for uploading this super clean recording. To all PF fans, you need to listen to this version of Echoes. Rick's voice is angelic and super clean against Dave's vocals, its now comfortable in my Top 5 Echoes recordings, Pompei, BBC, Radio City Manhattan 17/3/73 (awesome must hear version, great back story), this version and Case Western Reserve University 1971. Axe is very cool and DSOTM is still so raw vs album version cut in less than 4 months. Wonderful recording from the glory years of 1970 through Pre DSOTM when it was simply perfect!

Great listen to one of the greatest bands of all time. Blessed to have seen them twice and they and Zeppelin will forever remain two of the best bands I saw live.

Tell me about it. I developed an infatuation with Iron Maiden as a kid, but never got the chance to see them, due to parental control (and some other factors). I’ve seen them probably a dozen times in adulthood and would trade them all to see Pink Floyd once. Easily.

The best thing about those days of my youth at this point i was 20,is there was no Internet therefore no social media, only NME,Melody Maker & Sounds, that and the fact music was 100% better is why life was better and people were nicer to each other,im afraid the world wont live much longer which is a shame for my grandchildren,😢😢

I have no idea how these guys learned the structure of these early version of Shine On, Pigs etc.🤣 Did they have 18hrs rehearlsal sassions per day or what? Btw, here they're already playing some of the next album's songs and the one after the next.😂

Well I don't know what's more scary, listening to how I'm going to get cancer and die a sad old man or singing about the apocalypse. This guy's got some pretty Macabre lyrics. I think I'm going to listen to the remaining half tomorrow in the daytime cuz I'm going to probably have nightmares tonight.

I do admit, I only thought they were missing David Gilmore because of the soundboard.. until BREATHE; unmistakably his voice! Then TIME! His voice, his lead! Great stuff!!

Ifanyone is still in any doubt, you can tell it is the soundboard (i.e. un-mixed tape) recording because the bass is disproportionately forward compared to Gilmour's guitar and everything else.

Being a life long bass player and old, old sound guy I picked up on the bass. I kinda like it. Some people barely notice things like that. Nice call
