OMG 9 weeks of Payroll to certify… I cannot figure out how to add fringe benefits that are paid into a fund. It says add in the contribution section.. where is that located 😮

Please HELP! I've emailed the public works about wanting to pay and why i was issued a new PCW number. They asked a few questions i replied on 7/29 and have not heard back! So over this new site!

XML uploads are broken. They do not properly upload fringes or overtime info. It's been months with this issue. Should I just upload while its broken? We can't get paid till I upload to DIR and have too many employees for manual entry.

This system is a complete failure. I was not able to save my old DIR number and wound up having to get a new one. After getting a new one and paying for it, I have been stuck on pending for almost 2 months now. I have reached out to the DIR email and am STILL trying to get this issue resolved. It has caused such a delay and issue with obtaining payments. Don't even know what do at this point. Even tried making a new account to start over and it doesn't work.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE UPLOAD A VIDEO ON HOW TO UPLOAD XML FILES FROM LCP TRACKER TO THIS NEW DIR WEBSITE. Every time I get a step closer, I get stuck with a new problem. There's no tutorial on exactly how to do it? I keep getting this stupid error whenever I think I finally got it. I'VE TRIED SO MANY WAYS! I have so many questions!! am I really going to have to double enter this???

The input is has become enormously time consuming. I can upload employees but can’t narrow the search by a number or name in order to add them to the reporting. And they are not in any order I can discern. Sometimes the prefill payroll information works and sometimes not. The reports don’t include even the most basic information like say… totals and the Non-Performance reports only give an error message. Clearly the programmer is out of their depth. Someone should have tested this system prior to launch because - and this is assuming they’re getting my e-mails - informing them of errors is not my job. At a minimum they should post ‘known issues’ and a possible fix date. As it stands, this isn’t even good enough for government work.

Once you add your CPR how do you print the page like you used to be able to do? So confusing!

I am unable to complete a search, anywhere I've tried so far, a 404 error is returned each time. I'll contact our Clients with projects that require the reporting. It is a mess.

This is absolutely maddening! This new program is not user friendly! It let me register because we were current yet I cannot work with in that! To say I'm not frustrated is an understatement! Any UPDATES or instructions on how to move forward? HELP

Everybody needs to contact their state senators & legislature and vent your frustrations there. This new system has been a complete nightmare.

Has anyone figured this out yet?? I am 8 weeks behind in my payrolls. I'm so stressed out Specifically - 1. a better way to connect to a project, I have found very few projects, it seems you have to look for them by name?? This cant be right, how do you search by DIR number? 2. printing a confirmation report. 3. Some of by submission have been accepted, some still showing as drafts, not in any order. If I give them a couple of weeks, then they usually show a submitted status, but not always. Is there any rhyme or reason?

Has anyone had any issues getting connected to their company's account once their company's PWC registration was updated? We have an administrator account and are trying to add user accounts but not getting anywhere.

The project search was bad enough on the old site, but now it's even more ridiculous. Because customers so often do not provide the DIR Project #'s (or PWC-100 job names), we often have to search for them. In the past it was difficult because you could only search short periods of time if the awarding body had a lot of projects. Otherwise, the system would come back and say it was too much information. Also, we often had to figure out the right job by the dollar amount, if we were the only contractor. Now, on the new platform, there are no amounts listed in the search screen. So, we basically have to drill down on every job to find the right one? That's just insane.

Anyone else having issues seeing old ecprs? They won't show up. Are we required to re-upload them or will they come up on their own later? I'm so confused.

Has anyone else experienced this? My company was set up and connected on June 24. On July 1 when we logged in, our company was gone and our users were connected to the wrong company. About a week later we were connected to another wrong company. I have sent multiple emails to the DIR, but we are still stuck in the company 1001095079. This company has 4,916 projects and 8,916 users. How can we resolve this?

I get up to this point and I don't see any associated accounts page? I sent several emails with questions and I didn't get any replies.

the old program worked just fine. Why change something that's not broken. The new program doesn't let us doing anything that I have to do.

I sent them an email regarding the issue I had with the registration, DIR responded within two days and issue resolved. Now I need to send them another e-mail in regards to the xml import issue....

Does anyone know how to add payroll? I can't add employees as our Craft is their, but the classification is not. I have wasted so much time on this new improved website, but I don't get anywhere. So frustrating!

First problem - I am unable to add new classifications for my employees. Second - after entering one employee's info and trying to go to the next employee, I get a message that I need to enter a Basic Wage amount (which I already had done). I figured that it was because I was unable to enter that classification to my employee in his set up. So to remedy that, I went back to the employee's set up screen and replaced one classification (that I did not need for this week's payroll) with the one I needed to use on this payroll. That seemed to work for this payroll, but I'm not sure what will happen next payroll when I need to use all his classifications plus another! Third problem - I am stuck on an employee's page. I completed his information but the next step button is subdued and will not let me move on. Apparently, there's something missing but I've done all I can to try and FIGURE OUT the problem, since there is nothing telling me what the problem is. All the numbers calculating correctly. By the way, I emailed the DIR weeks ago and received a reply stating that they received my email but I've received no answers and no help. Haven't found anything online that addresses these issues.

Does anyone know how to enter payroll for Shift Pay? Wondering if I should just put it in the notes, along with the everything else.

So update on the XML's according to a webinar I watched hosted by ABC, XML uploads are not expected to be up and working until the end of 2024 or the end of Q1 2025..

Okay after watching the basic video, are we supposed set up the employees manually or do the employee import before you upload the the XML file? I finally figured out how to upload the file, but it only brings in their name, social security number and paycheck details which I have not confirmed but the rate and training had the same number. For those 7 employees it brought in with our XML, you cannot add the classification to their file now (it won't let you edit the classification). I did try to add a new employee manually, but why in the world are they using the descriptions listed under the Group 1 etc instead of Group 1 and so on? The old system was not broken and extremely easy to upload, sign and submit. The LCP Tracker is so much better and that says something. They use the Group numbers not one of the descriptions listed under the group number. Not sure what California is trying to gain with using the descriptions. Someone must of been paid big bucks to create this lovely website that does not work. I am not going to do a thing until I hear differently.

DIR PLEASE HELP !! When I attempt to upload XML's it takes me through the steps, and after I hit submit, a page populates that states I created REQ0208826 (not sure what the point of these are, but I get these anytime I submit an XML). After refreshing the page and trying to view what I submitted, there is no submission there and it doesn't even look like I tried submitting anything. IS ANYONE ELSE GETTING THESE MESSAGES AFTER SUBMITTING? I have tried manually entering the CPR information as well, but the pay rate/gross/net information is showing up incorrectly because 1. there is no spot to put "other deductions" AND 2. all of the fringes that are paid to approved plans for the employee automatically add to the base rate causing the base rate of pay to be too high. As others have mentioned, the DIR has said to reduce the gross by the "other deduction" and to add the deduction information in the notes section, but the note section cuts off so that is not much help. IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING THE ISSUES WITH THE FRINGES BEING ADDED TO THE BASE PAY, PLEASE RESPOND AND LET ME KNOW.

I am stuck on am employee whom the systems states doesn't have any rates listed, however it's clearly there, and not calculating correctly. The worst part is my NOTES entered do not stay. So i cannot provide clarity for rates or deductions that are not there. I cannot even move forward if I wanted to. I'm stuck. and no one will help me. I've provided screenshots and sent multiple emails. Is there anyone providing feedback on the emails and/or answering questions here? This is beyond frustrating.

Has anyone been successful in paying their registration fee? I’m still getting a “technical difficulties” error message. Our registration is still pending, I’m unable to pay and I have sent 3 emails with no response yet. The last time I called I was told by the person who answered the phone they were unable to help me and to submit a help request via email.

Who designed this portal? They took a perfectly good system and destroyed it. We are struggling to upload payroll. A stupid and dumb system making the clients totally frustrated!! Who in the world ordered this change? They should be held accountable.

I need help entering certified payroll with this new system. Do we have to request to join every single project? Does that mean that the contractor needs to create an account before requesting to join the project as a Subcontractor? I can’t seem to find some projects/and contractors and I am falling behind CPR. While manually entering payroll info there is no slot for other type of deductions; medicare, IRA, CALSAVERS....ETC. What are people doing? Help?

PLEASE HELP! Has anyone else come across this issue? I gave up uploading XML's for now. When I enter manually there's a number of issues I am having, most of which I have seen addressed by others, but I have not seen anyone discuss the issues with the fringes. We pay most of our fringes to approved plans and it therefore should not be calculated into the "Base hourly rate" but the new system automatically calculates the fringes you list into the base hourly causing it to be higher than it should be. I cannot figure out how to enter in the fringes without it doing this. This is beyond frustrating, and I cannot believe the DIR will not allow us to access the old system until this new system is actually ready for us. I am over a month behind now on uploading CPRs.

Would it NOT BE POSSIBLE to allow us to enter weeks upon weeks of payroll into the old system that worked so well prior to it being totally redone and made such a mess of. None of this makes any sense. I did receive a notice from a payroll specialist that I am going to contact here soon. I do not understand this at all.
