Awesome catches but usually when you can only use barbless hooks u cant use a treble. Is it different for stone or did you just not get caught? lol

Where do you go steelhead fishing off 299? I’ve hit up the mad river by the hatchery and never had luck :/

I’ve had some luck near the mad river hatchery. Mostly fish the trinity river at Hoopa though. Tons of fish year round

Be very careful in eating mussels in our area. They are toxic certain times of the year. Nice video you might want to do a catch and eat.

I grew up fishing Humboldt lagoons for trout, definitely miss it. I think I’ll be up there in a few weeks, maybe I’ll give it a shot. Do you know if they’ve been stocking this year?
