I was told as kid. Don't have car in gear. Handbrake up. Why? Because if someone hits you from behind. Tend to press petrol and pop clutch. Hit car infront of you. It's slightly different on bike. If you like to hold clutch in for 5min. And nobody infront of you. Might be better to be in gear to get away. 🤔 My style of riding. If you can't see don't ride. Take every car as stupid. Don't be arrogant and believe you own road.

1 more hint. Ride on side of car. So if car stops and believe me. You can't stop from 0 to 100 in 2 sec. So you would fly past car and not into car 😊. Makes sense? I like to keep on right side. SA we drive on right hand side. So maybe stick on left side of cars.

Did you get the vibration dampener? I need to purchase one asap so I can go on longer road trips too. How big is the tail bag and what does it look like? I usually always have my backpack on so I can store crap

Quadlock with the vibration dampener is great. I just got it on a Ninja 500 ABS.

(First time rider) do you brake with your rear slowing down (45)? Or do you use both front and rear

@@urielzuniga5853 I usually brake mostly with my rear. I start off with my rear and usually that will slow me down enough with downshifting as well. I use my front break when wanting to stop fully, along with my rear. Obviously I will use my front and my rear at the same time if I need to stop QUICK.
