i recognize the skill this takes to do but i really go get sad when people make the face look so smooth it doesn't look human to me. I draw a lot of faces and i love the slight "flaws", frown lines, eye bags all that because it's just sooo human. we literally all have them sooner or later

I prefer the original, but the first retouch is way worse. Literally erased her racial characteristics, have her a new nose, freckles, skin tone and basically made her a whole different race. She looks barely mixed in the first image!

I feel like it wasn't lightened Factors which made it feel like the skin color got lighter were Lighting Transformation from warm tone to cool tone while editing Removing the blemishes made a sort of illusion where the skin got brighter but it felt lighter And ofc change in lighting while editing And it's her first so maybe that too

The hair being taller gave it a more interesting visual story and the blush is a little heavy for this type of makeup, otherwise it looks good!
