Were you in a tree saddle? They make you stick out from the tree and look unusual to deer instead of being able to lean back against a tree like a tree stand.

I’ve been wondering how good these would be with the new Easton match grade collars (if they fit) and the 75 grain brass hit inserts.

I've had the Tethrd Phantom since 2020 and I really like it. The only thing I don't like is how much it rides up by backside. On m all-day sits as I alternate between standing and sitting positions, I keep having to pull the saddle down - which of course causes a lot of extra movement in the tree. Have you guys experienced that with the Phantom as well? And do you experience anything like that with the Cruzr? I imagine probably not since the panel expands and is able to reach dang near to the back of your thigh.
@gritarchery
@gritarchery 9 ай бұрын
That was our same experience with the Phantom. It is a great product but we were constantly having it ride upon us. The XC has been the perfect hybrid between a one and two panel saddle. We still have zero complaints with it

I know the feeling bud...it is truly a struggle stick. I hunted 100% trad last year, had three opportunities...got nothing. This year shot a 10pt with a compound 2nd day of season. Now got the stick again...
@gritarchery
@gritarchery 10 ай бұрын
Congrats on your buck!! It is definitely a challenge with the trad bows but all that more rewarding when you pull it off. Seems like every time we take the compound we get a 15 yard chip shot and they stay just out of range when we have the recurves.

Thanks for showing footage of following the blood trail. It's one of the most exciting parts of the hunt, but people always leave that out. I especially love the moment when you are moving slow and you don't know where or even if you are going to find him, then suddenly you see him and all at once the mood changes to celebration.
