Fantastic questions, most memorable answers are about his Mom, “When I was 16 I couldn’t do anything right…….”, sustaining excellence, the whole interview is a crown jewel. Thank you.

I was a huge 90s Cowboy fan who grew up in the 80s, & my 2 biggest excitements were: 1) when we drafted Troy (I literally started watching CFB b/c of knowing he was going to be our draft pick), & 2) when we traded for Charles Haley (even though I’d hated him as a “foe” whenever we played the 49ers b/c he was just a superstar). CHARLES & TROY were my 2 favorites even w/ all the talent on both sides. And if I had to have picked a 3rd it was either Nate Newton or Larry Allen. But all the Super Bowls ran through Troy & Charles on either side of the ball b/c of talent & their individual expectations of all on the team.

Steve Young what's always one of my favorites because he was not afraid to take off out of the pocket when it was collapsing because that was so uncommon of white quarterbacks. Truth be told.

I pray these thoughts are always in the back of my nephew's name. I pray he makes it through high school and college to get drafted into the NFL without doing anything to blow it. 🙏
