Love the walkthrough and overall setup with the tall cabinets. With the bed slats vertical, would they clear the mule bags if mounted along the roof?

Ridiculous that I have to watch video to see where each piece of L track goes. Why can't I get a piece of paper showing the layout of ltrack. And my ltrack numbers don't match what your saying.
@CharlieMander8432 ай бұрын
I don't see the point of this If you have to drill holes in the van to attach it. I was originally interested because I thought it mounted to factory holes and then gave you better attached points for your build. What would you say point of this product is? Genuinely curious not trying to be rude.

What is the measurement for the cover panel so I use the right size breaker panel. I was considering the blue sea 8 position fused breaker that measures 8in X 4in.

Great looking build. Think you misspoke on tire size though mate. You can see the front tires sidewall and it's a 275/70/17

@aggibson745 ай бұрын
how loud is the unit in the van? can you hear the fans? I don't know why more people are using this solution for power in small van builds. It looks like it is much more compact than using individual components. I hear the new delta pro 3 is supposed to be quieter if you find the pro to be too loud.

Is it the narrow fender box able to fit a Ecoflow power kit 5k independence with battery and power kit in fender?
@vladimiran56555 ай бұрын
I have been using the DP in my sprinter for the past 2years and I love it! I also use their ac. I have a rooftop 12 V AC that I never installed because the small EcoFlow AC is good enough for a 144.
@RamSlow5 ай бұрын
Can a 12v roof mounted AC be hooked up directly yo the battery? Like a dometic, or normadic x3? Like the power kit, but its so expensive.
@vladimiran56555 ай бұрын
Costco has way better deals on these than Eco flow themselves. Speaking of rooftop AC I ran my rooftop when testing it through a converter and it pulled about 500 to 600 W. I’m not sure that the wiring from the Anderson port is thick enough to run a rooftop AC. This is why I used a converter.
@brettporter95835 ай бұрын
No, they cannot. Their must be some intermediate connections, and you run the risk of killing your starter battery
@FWDXPL5 ай бұрын
You’ll need a power kit to manage an AC unit.
@WalkerNFaith5 ай бұрын
Do you think the Ecoflow system can power a Dometic AC FOR 2-3 hours? Is there way to plug in the AC to ECOFLOW.
@RodPagador5 ай бұрын
You will likely need the EcoFlow power kits over the delta pro for the ac. Different systems and functions.
@brettporter95835 ай бұрын
You would best to power a 12v fuse panel from the Ecflow and run a circuit from that for the A/C, or run a dedicated circuit breaker for the AC

When Mercedes followed Ford to AWD I thought oh oh - lame. For 95% of drivers it is probably a better drive system. No one rational is going to need a LOW SLOW rock crawler in a $125+ van. One tip over and totaled.
@useyourvan6 ай бұрын
So is there a need to have a deburring tool and touchup paint for all the holes drilled like some of the other brands suggest with these same type of kits? Heard you say something about it rusting when you cut the one little suggested piece off...

@bikesbeersbeats6 ай бұрын
Very nice rig. Smart going with not increasing ride height and throwing on a huge roof rack. I find that kills mpg of these vans and sucks a lot of the drive power. For the rear storage boxes you should replace those straps to shorter straps that clip onto the side handles, makes retrieve items a lot easier.

Hey guys - clean looking recovery points. Can you tell us what the Working Load Limit is? Pulling another van on flat, dry dirt isn't likely the way I would put these to use. I'd be more likely to be trying to pull someone else out of the muck or out of an icy ditch or would be being pulled out myself. Having a 9000 pound van stuck in the mud requires some pretty strong recovery points and knowing what yours are rated to would help me make a purchase decision. Thanks!
