Hi there, thank you for your comment. I use Sonnet Watercolour Paint and use a Rubber basecoat before applying a topcoat to ensure the design is secure. I have online nail art courses if you wish to learn more: linktr.ee/bespokenailspecialist.sa

After you have done your nail art, you can apply a rubber topcoat or you could apply a thin coat of builder gel and then do one coat of top coat.

Yes you can change the colour by adding gel polish to the white and folding/mixing the colour in. Alternatively you could buy plasticine gel in different colours 🤍

Hi Ruth, if you would like to apply a top coat, you are welcome to do so - you will then just loose your embossed look. If you are using a good quality gel paint that cures without an inhibition layer, it will not chip off.🤍

Hi, thank you for your comment and subscribing to my channel🤍 When creating flowers with the plasticine gel, I use rubbing alcohol on my brush. You can also isopropyl alchohol. Since I don't seal in the design with the top coat - I usually educate my clients since things like smoking, spices, make up and some clothing items might discolour it due to it being porous. But it can be cleaned with nail polish remover should this happen. Hope this helps.

Hi @@NailsbyAmbie - which brand paint and top coat you using? I will recommend that you apply a thin coat of base coat gel polish or rubber base coat first, cure that and then apply your top coat. 🤞🏻 Trust it will work, but please let me know if you still have this problem.🤍

@@bespoketheschoolofnailart Hi I am using madam glam. I actually figured the problem out. I was doing layer after layer and not letting it dry at all, so the water was repelling my topcoat making it not cure. Thank you for the advice.

Hi there, thank you for you question. The paint that I used in this video cures without a tacky layer which means you don't need to wipe it once you are done. But if you are using a gel paint that cures with a tacky layer, I will recommend that you give it a wipe. Hope this answered your question🤍
