R.I.P. your brother, magnificent speedrun. I would like to see your speed run on Sega as well.

Where to play this on PC?
@Solanimus4 ай бұрын
For this video I was playing it using an original CD-ROM of Earthworm Jim Special Edition for Windows 95, which my late brother got for his 8th birthday in 1996. This record along with the other two, on normal and practice difficulty were completed in his memory. In order for the audio to work correctly, you either need the disc in a drive connected or you need to emulate a disc being in a connected drive using an ISO file from an original CD-ROM of the game. On modern versions of Windows you will likely need to replace a DLL or two, but it actually works surprisingly well right away, given that it's so old. Keep in mind other versions of the game differ in some ways. I would personally not recommend the PC version of Earthworm Jim available on Steam. I consider this the best version of EWJ, as even the Sega CD version has some relative drawbacks. Let me know if you have any other questions to be able to play the game.

Super cool man, congrats! Your boss fights in particular were blink-and-you'll-miss-it fast! And the level with all the thrones had us gobsmacked. I'm sure your bro would be proud!

gg, this is a top 10 game for me, a childhood classic. I like like to hear stories like this, I lost my cousin who was a brother to me and I dedicated a perfect 16/16 tracks in mirror mode in double dash to him recently, we use to play that and melee all the time. sometimes gaming is more than just gaming.
@MarMaxGaming5 ай бұрын
Wow, that’s incredible! Double dash and melee mean everything to me and my friends too, plus melee is one of David’s favorite games!

Imagine somebody launching the cow without ever seeing the thing! Man you pushed this game fast with some hard tricks! On Difficult too… really cool to see all the PC differences from the Genesis that I’m used to. Also “use the crate” you’re like nah, 5 plasma shots instead. Evil the Cat also never encounter somebody with 3000 bullets either, way to show that damn Cat who’s boss. The whole run is incredible.. you showed Mr. Snot he’s got a problem alright, 3 times in a row. What a boss run. 11:28 my exact reaction to this world record!🎉 20:59 the Pete Sake Skip… very hard to do, frame perfect from what I’ve been told!
