Great carpenting skills! Kudos there. Personally I have a hard time understanding why you’d want to turn your boat into an IKEA living room rather than do the effort to salvage and repair the old teak and mahogany. But, nice job!
@ayachtofloveАй бұрын
We didn't cover any teak or mahogany. We only covered the old marine plywood. All other wood has been sanded, varnished, and returned to life. We love the hardwood on our boat.

Have you just been keeping grease in the in-line greaser cups full . And it’s been needing more every six months . Or you’ve had to push the grease in thru the bottom of the hole in the cup while someone turns the steering wheel with a grease gun .Getting a good application of grease .
@ayachtoflove4 ай бұрын
Good question. Unfortunately, we have only moved the boat twice since this project was filmed. So. Much. Boat. Work. lol But I'll check on these grease cups tomorrow morning and reply back with an update.

@@ayachtoflove I’m getting ready to do mine. I have 20 foot runs . I think the super lube they say to use is thin . So maybe it’s just fill the cup and forget about it .

@@briandale8386 sorry for the delay in my response. Here's a live look at one of the grease cups. The other one was just as dry. kzbin.info/www/bejne/goTGpHlpjtGHic0si=pSOC4FVCZAVyUGtB

@@ayachtoflove I had to buy 8 greasers. Good to see they took the grease. I had two 20 foot funs . I see what you meant buy having to turn the conduit . A couple of places was hard . Thank for the info

Where did u get the “T” fittings from?
@ayachtoflove4 ай бұрын
Amazon. Generally for systems that are not critical, not safety related, or non-structural, we feel comfortable using non-marine-grade components. We had to upgrade to a larger inside diameter hose so we ended up using 3/8" hose barb Tee fitting (or some product listings call them a three way fitting).
