Just bought a black 2002 to use for a cleaning company my wife started. Love this vehicle! Runs great at 175k miles. Added Bluetooth with rear cam to it. These are super quality and comfortable vehicles built to last.

I have a 2000 RX300 with 275,000 miles. Outside of wearables and driving it over 200,000 miles until the timing belt started to go but didn’t toast the engine and two O2 sensors it still runs like a top. Lexus aren’t really broken in until 250,009 miles.

man i miss this car. you say 3 people can fit but honestly i put 7 people in it once lol. but 4ppl can fit without an issue. I always had passengers tell me that the back seats are pretty roomy for a coupe car.

I’ve had this car since 2001 Honda Accord EX coupe version in the v6 3.0 vtec but you wouldn’t know it was the same car at first glance I bought it in 2006 still have it in 2024 and it looks brand new . New transmission custom exhaust AEM intake god speed coil overs, extreme dimension, body kit 18 inch rims god speed cambers all new black leather interior replace the carpet black All new headlights and brake lights premium stereo system and much more . I haven’t replaced the engine yet, which is still good, but I will be doing an engine swap if the engine ever starts giving me problems. But as of right now, the engine is in perfect conditions. Still no issues whatsoever. At over 200,000 miles that’s why I love Honda’s they run forever and it beats getting into serious car payments which I rather not

I’m watching this video in 2024 because I’m really looking into buying a sc400 , my question is with the 1997+ models do they actually have traction control? I know the earlier models have traction control but I’d like to know if the later models do since I don’t find any information on that or not. Thank you

97+ still do, there is a switch under the steering wheel to turn it on or off

Im considering getting one of these for 2 reasons, First one, the biggest one, the multidisk cartridges are the same on the gs400/300. I want to use my disk cartridges on roadtrips lol. 2 is just awd, I want something for snow. I just wish they made a 4runner or a lx with the same multidisk cartridges as the rx and gs

This was the second new car I ever bought in the first new car I bought basically by myself I was around 25 years old. I bought it at the Honda dealership on Broadway in Yonkers that I believe moved to Central Avenue years later I love that car I remember the tail lights Reminded me of the legend, it just look like a lot more expensive car than it was. I’ve remember driving the car home from the dealership and Police pulling up on the side of me asking me what kind of car was to think that car is 27 years old is crazy, I’m 50 years old now I will be 51 August 16, 2024 to think how time flies is an understatement. I always go back to the movie back to the future in that movie. He went back 30 years and it seemed like it was such a long time back, meanwhile if I go back 30 years, I’m basically at this Honda accord coupe. I was just looking at a record in my house from 1974. to think that Rocket is 49 years old if back in 1985 you told me you had something from 1936 I would’ve freaked out and said wow that is super old and it must be super expensive lol or it must be worth something but now I look around and I have a lot of things that age and older and I usually don’t put it into perspective until I think about things like back to the future. Going back 50 years or more is a thing not all of us get to do. I’m going to make a video with all the old things on my channel soon. Come check it out. Peace out yo

Just got a 2000 with 188k miles and it runs like a top. The cosmetic condition is immaculate it's very luxurious for the price I paid. A little slow, but that's not terribly important. It gets up and goes when it needs to. Get some pads to cover the front seats and they won't get all ripped up. Change oil often, transmission oil often, and keep her clean and it will last forever (until the trans blows up)
@evandannenhirsch49673 ай бұрын
lol very true, unlike a Camry or LS400 the RX300 needs fluid services on time, or things will go south quickly. Oil every 5k and trans service every 50k. Don't put it off or you'll have a totaled car. Otherwise they are well built, and not prone to breaking if fluids are fresh.

love the car, also really nice job with the video work! i just got a sc400 92, its a great car, but I think the reason these car are not crazy expensive yet, has mainly to do with the way the transmission works, its tuned to be a very smooth, long shifting car. For me, the long shifting/great handling and very stiff body makes it really fun, but I can see how other may not like it. but id recommend buying one anyday, especially when you can get one for about 5 grand; make sure its a good one though! To be frank, if you can get a car like this one depicted in this video, all stock, you will be super happy:)

I have this vehicle in the same color as a 2001 with just 84,000 miles. The only real problem I have had and am still having is some sort of parasitic draw that eventually drains the battery if the vehicle sits more than a couple of days. I think it's related to the door and window switches, and any replacement parts have to be salvage at this point.

If you tap the gas pedal to the door and realease while moving, it will downshift. Other than changing mg gears that how I got it to move. Had the same with 2002 and 2007 acura Tl (although they each had a sport shift feature)

My mom used to have a 1996 Accord sedan, then we had a 2004 Honda Odyssey, I’m fan of Hondas from the mid 90s to the mid 2000s. I currently have a 2015 Camry I also like Toyotas. Honda and Toyota are my favorite daily drivers. Even though Honda doesn’t make Coupes, I would love to have an Accord V6 Coupe, they are a lot of money, especially in good condition.

Designed and manufactured in the USA but not only for the American market, because it was also sold in Europe with some specific features for the European market (orange rear turn signals, absence of side position light and white front position light...). I have two.

it can do 90 all day. fuel consumption will be higher but just fine, upper teens. No noise issues. Car does top out at 110 so you won't be doing anything crazy but 90 all day is just fine

These are great cars you can get a solid used one for around $3000 or less and Metra just recently made an aftermarket ac kit for these so you can k on put a modern radio in also. Only real issue is the turn radius in parking lotts and you need to check the timing belt if the car has over 100k on the odometer but that’s a lot of cars. Take care of this and it It will last well over 250k miles
