That batter dev speed is juiced! Was wondering why ur save looked so insane with the bats I've still got that all base haha. Slowly watching these vids finally have time to sit and watch i have the flu lol
@JerseyBornКүн бұрын
The dev speed is always way too slow in OOTP and it was extra broken when this version came out so I changed it then to what I saw a lot of other people doing at the time and just haven't touched it since
@clibby877616 сағат бұрын
@@JerseyBorn i get that its the first time ive really played the game myself and most of my bats are like 50 or 55's and seeing your players made me think I was doing something wrong but I guess it is just the dev speed for me

yanno i didn’t think i would get hooked on this as much as i have. love the OOTP series and this scratches that same itch in my brain. Thanks for putting me on once again jeremy

I don't believe the star ratings themselves will change upon promotion, but rather when you sign a player who causes them to be updated. The change more so appears in the scouting report, where last season a player who is "Good for Ligue 2" would appear in the Pros section, now that same judgement from the coach/scout you have providing that info will appear in Cons

My bad habit on FM is to sign my whole team after promotion with 25-50% sell on fees and $0 relegation release clauses so I can keep wages down and go all in on staying up. Might be worth it when signing 28+ year olds to give them those kind of clauses as they probably wont yield substantial fees when sold anyway going forward and it does a lot in getting contract demands down.

It's interesting to see how you do contracts - as an FM vet (~5000+ hours I think since FM17), I am much more interested in bonus-laden contracts, especially for younger/squad players and the like. Happy to pay more for players when they play rather than paying them to sit on the bench, and especially when they score/assist, since it usually is correlated with success. It's a good way to get defenders a bit cheaper too, as they almost never are scoring/assisting so you can throw big bonuses onto their deals for that. Easy way to get pronunciations right is to also put the names into google translate and use the listen feature, it's not perfect but a pretty good way to learn all of those French names.
@JerseyBorn13 күн бұрын
It just never really crossed my mind to think of it like that but that makes a lot of sense. I’d like to think I’ve learned a lot pretty quickly about FM and the sport in general but I definitely have a lot more to learn. Will for sure be experimenting with more bonuses in the future
@servalarian12 күн бұрын
@@JerseyBorn Yeah it's one of those things that I think is way more of a Football thing than in American sports - I'd much rather pay a player like 100k a year and then give them 1k for each goal that they score and then pay them to play + bonuses for team of the year/international caps etc. Even if it's not something that impacts player performance in game, its one of those things that I can feel good about because I know that I'm paying for success!

The reason that one game went to like the 99th minute was because big football doesnt like grenoble, so the refs ignored the clocked and yelled "Next Goal Wins" and hoped that would work

to answer your question at 14:33, yes, the team is based in Grenoble. Stade des Alpes is in pretty much the center of the city
@davidenodirtymo1884Ай бұрын
The way you play defensive wingers is good, creates a lot of traffic in the offensive end . you get the best from this scheme if you have a “ Regista “ that can change the side of the game with long passes and find attackers cutting . Grenoble , a team that I definitely not expect to cheer for , but here we are . Great content ad usual .
