Bloody Jordan, got me all cutting me onions at the end of the interview🙄, but definitely felt and like he said the country (your pacific island family included) are all behind you & tautoko you! My 11 daughter shows me clips of you and it’s very comforting knowing that she has leaders like you at the forefront to protect this next generation. ♥️

Filipino here. Brothers and Sisters Maori take you land back. Your ancestors made a grievous deal with the colonizers. Take your sh*t back, it belongs to you. We Filipinos dont play that sh*t, we earned our independence.

Gooo Girl... If they change the 'contract' 80 percent of NZ would be 'Illegal Immigrants'... Only the Maori can hold the current society together... Those who claim Democracy with what choice... Everyday people get along just fine... Our rulers aren't on the same wavelength... They would be happy to sacrifice us all. Democracy means 'the people rule'... There is no real 'Democracy in this world'... They use the word to divide and rule us all... The 'Wests' only hope is to realise they have no democracy... and strive towards it... I don't think it will ever happen... It's not in human nature... never has been... There has never been a 'True' Democracy on Earth and there never will be... It's the nature of power and how it governs the weak.

A fearless warrior really rude, disrespectful, and aggrogant. The haka is a threatening war dance in parliament against democratic mps. Don't forget they represent the rest of us civil people.

I came to Aotearoa as a refugee and I really relate to what she said about being a fish out of water in Wellington and trying to play their game. The only time I've felt seen for who I am, and felt a sense of belonging in this country is when I'm interacting with tangata whenua. Te Tiriti improves all our lives. David Seymour thinks we'll feel more equal if we all just conform to European values. I feel sorry for him.

Glad I found this to understand this situation better. As an American, I fear if minorities and especially original people don’t keep this in the forefront of the public’s view rights will be chipped away until the people wake up and realize they should have acted.

Sis - your haka is BLOWING UP right now in America!! My 60 y.o. mom and 67 y.o. aunt have both seen it.. and they're not like.. how shall I say .. not checked into "the culture" 😂 And there's this NEED for everyone I've talked to.. a NEED to watch it over and over. I myself have watched it over and over and over. I can't get enough. And so you have to stop and ask yourself, what happened here? Why is this so magical?? And I do NOT mean to co-op your movement or motives. I hope, more than anything else, this achieves the goals YOU intended it to achieve. That said, as a bonus, I think the reason it's so big here across the ocean is bc it feels so dark over here right now. Especially for women. There's a very real, very aggressive movement against women right now and I think that's what tipped the scales in our election. There are many reasons to criticize us for re-electing trump.. many factors. But the DECIDING factor is this really aggressive wave of resentment for women happening in America right now. Maybe across the world? Idk, I can only speak for my own. I say all of this to say.. as I try to understand that feeling in my heart.. that spark I feel EVERY time I watch your haka from across the world, I've realized that the magic, for me, is your girl power in that moment. It gives me this refreshing, desperately needed breath of hope. A booming reminder that women are POWERFUL and this moment is just a setback prepping us for a comeback 💥 so while I hope, most importantly, you achieve YOUR goals, I also want to thank you for inspiring us, as a bonus ❤ Your spirit seems pure and genuine and kind and full of everything the world needs sooo much more of. And that spirit of yours shines so bright, we can see it all the way over here in Midwest America. Keep killing it, girlfriend 🩷💫

It’s a tradition, this is In regards to a treaty settlement between two parties. The Māori tried the European way and it did not work, so they are doing it the *Māori* way. The Haka is done when you believe in something strongly, she believes in her ancestors and all they fought for, in her future generations of Tamariki, in the preservation of her culture. David Seymour says it’s about equal rights, that every New Zealander should have control over the fisheries, mountains and lakes of Māori land. But that land is tribal land, the tribes are apart of New Zealand History, apart of Māori culture. 5.6 percent of land area is Māori land. That is not only apart of the Māori culture but the history of New Zealand/ Aotearoa. Ten seats per land, so what do they do with the money that comes from the land? Spend it on a vacation?, beers?, shopping spree?…. No, it goes towards the upkeep of their Marae, the electricity bill, plumbing, gardening, any fixtures, Pantry items such as tea for guest. I believe New Zealand is already equal.

There have been many ludicrous examples of bad investments and blatant corruption. In fact this is one of their main arguments,it’s up to them where they spend their money Maoriness is constantly being invoked as a reason for special funding and evasion of justice.I am not impressed by someone screaming out a war dance/challenge when they should be carefully arguing their case. It’s a bit like a toddler tantrum except that it seems to convince a lot of gullible people

Your comment Hana " what did we just do " was impromptu theatre. Your a good actress. But here's the thing. Our Sovereignty is with King Charles, who was appointed over the British Empire, by The Lord Jesus Christ. Your people did not have the gospel until the British Empire bought it too you. You cannot have 2 sovereigns in one Nation. You have one or the other........ Likewise you cannot be saved by two different people.......only Jesus. Becaise Jesus is Sovereign......Understand ??? If Jesus isnt sovereign, then God is not God, and you were not created in his wonderfull image. Its time your people realised that before its too late. If you want to succeed in Politics, know the truth. You dont represent Maori......your activists, who undermine the truth to bump up your ego's. Neither the Maori Party , nor the Labour Party are mandated to activate He Pua Pua, or hand over our country to tribal rule. So in the words of the Lord ALmighty " I will put my bit in your nose, and my hook in your mouth and I will turn you back the way in wich you came " the son-live
