Ah, Trinity! So very good - and so easy to get to for events etc. I haven't study there but been there a few times and absolutely love the campus!

@@HealthMeetsProductivity Well, actually Dublin is the place where it rains the least in Ireland. Search it up, it's legit. "It doesn't. Most of Dublin is in what is called a Rain Shadow. This is caused by the Wicklow Mountains and to a lesser extent the Dublin Mountains where most of the rain falls. The Northside of Dublin is the driest part of Ireland."

Yeah, “he was”. Now that it turns out that he was involved in some dodgy business they are not as proud of him but big name, yeah! The Berkeley Library is not known as such any more. He was cancelled almost 300 years after dying. Even the city of Berkeley in California is named after him 🤯

That’s exactly what my friend Alex (who films my interviews) and I thought when we filmed this video as the second video of a long interview filming day just to have more videos to upload later on during the year! But it turned out to be way more appealing and interesting than any of my other interview videos, becoming my most watched! Recently a person said hi to me on campus and told me that this video was the most helpful to her as you could see real people telling their own stories about their expectations and whether they thought they would make that year’s CAO cut, which I now realise is one of the major worries for anyone applying as every year it varies. So you seriously have a great point about how it seems an absurd video to film at first due to the CAO system being fully score oriented but inside the peel it ends up being more valuable than any of my other interviews! 🤯

Nope. In CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) there is an option to take all 4 Further Math exams in A2 (Y13) and my school did that 😅😂

@@luciacanoesparcia4329 Further es jodida, sí. Nosotros no tuvimos clases muy organizadas para Further entonces era más por nuestra cuenta. Entonces Further Stats lo llevé de 10 pero Further Pure 1 y 2 a medias y Further Mechanics literalmente no hice nada hasta la semana antes del examen. Ya fue un milagro que aprobase con una D la verdad 😂

omg!! Mario this was honestly a great insight into an astrophysicist student's life. All around yt I see advanced videos of working professionals, but this gave me a glimpse into a college student researching. Yeah! I take some time to cook the videos but once a month I generally make it so that I can upload one!! Try to enjoy your last year of high school and just try to be curious about the exam questions and how they can try to trick you or get you. And just make sure to practice to get better! I’m sure you’ll smash it and go wherever you want to go!! 👊🏻😁

@@mustafakazmi9028 No, on campus is only for postgraduate or Scholars (students that passed the Scholarship exam in 2nd year) Around 250-300€ per week. Contracts are usually 38 or 41 weeks

why do people do A levels internationally instead of their countries equivalent? Are they recognised as more academic or something?

@@useless2784 that’s actually a great question! For me it was better because of studying in English, doing an internationally recognised syllabus and the British curriculum itself which feels more about understanding than the Spanish one. They are well regarded. Both Pearson Edexcel International and Cambridge International Examinations have a great reputation. You’ll still be super great and fine if you do a national system! Most of my friends at Trinity College Dublin have done their normal national systems and many of them have a better level than I do. Hope that answered the question more or less : )

You have to apply as an international student directly to Trinity. You should contact Trinity Global! They are the ones that know most about it!

Such a helpful way to see these competitive things as a lottery ticket! You can get more tickets buy putting more work in but it still comes down to luck at the end. Will keep this in mind with my Rhodes Scholarship application :)

Thank you for your comment! I think that framework is a healthy yet effective one for acknowledging what is under our direct control and what isn’t. The component of luck is always present and there is no better approach that giving your best and hopefully the probability of success will be greater! Hope you the best with the Rhodes Scholarship and I am sure that whether or not you get into Oxford you will end up being really fine!
