Great video. I have just purchased the MT 07 and I'm also a little nervous of the torque. I don't want it running off and leaving me sitting on the road. Do you have any tips for keeping the front wheel firmly on the road surface? Is it just to be easy on the throttle?
@generationoutdoorsАй бұрын
Yes it is. Using the clutch friction zone while easing into the throttle. Now be mindful of the power the bike has. Cause it will try to pull up. But as long you know how to use a clutch and understand that friction zone then you will be good to go. Like I was saying. Get on it and don't ride. Just play with the clutch in 1st gear. Find that zone then once it starts pulling add just a bit if throttle to start a good roll then pull clutch in and let off the throttle at the same time.
@BeardedOutdoorAdventuresАй бұрын
I have the same bike. MSF course is this weekend. MT07 has me nervous to ride knowing the torque. I have been riding a tw200 to train on but still worried about this transition.
@generationoutdoorsАй бұрын
Don't be. As long as you have clutch and throttle control, it will all be fine. This bike is super fun to ride, and it's got enough power to play with. Be smooth on the clutch and throttle, and you will be golden.

I'm running the Yoshimura R77 carbon. And no I didn't. I don't have any issues. The occasional pops and bangs but no issues with it. I have had it serviced with the exhaust and they didn't say anything about it either. But they make items now to adjust your own Air Fuel mixture too. any tips for people wanting to learn more about bikes?
@generationoutdoors4 ай бұрын
Try to talk to somebody that has one and might he willing to teach you. Get out and get signed up for the Basic Riders Course. They will teach you everything about a motorcycle from one that runs in fuel injection to a carburetor. They will teach you how to use the clutch and how to properly ride. If you want some more learning curves on a clutch before going to the course then I suggest try to get with somebody you know or something and get on a small dirt bike with a clutch. Something that ain't git much power so if you do whisky throttle the results with be as bad as one with some decent power to prevent you injuring yourself.
