Sonny Crockett's tantrum scene is excellent. He shows his fit of rage when he sees the boy die. Then, when he throws the ball in the trash, it is a metaphor for how the career of this young man murdered by thugs was wasted. A sad and epic scene at the same time.

This was the scene i always thought of when i heard that beautiful song. I always understood Costners' convictions in child abuse. He just didn't understand right and wrong. The boy did because of him. I wouldn't have put a bullet in that mans head right then, in front of his family. But eventually, someone would have suffered for their mistake, and mine.

Absolutely 10/10 scene and music to one of the greatest films of all time, just THE BEST!

Smoking at a crime scene probably isn’t the best idea

Poor Barry (Jim Belushi) being so happy. Enjoying himself in the sea not knowing that next day he would be taking an acid bath.

James Caan is so underated. This entire action of picking up a chair and then smoking a cigarette expresses beautifully the satisfaction of a job well done. No word needed.

One of the greatest movie scenes in history. I used to record all the Miami Vice series off a VCR. Used to play once a week. Crocket so cool, Tubbs so cool. This particular song and the scene was picture perfect. Gone are those days, never to be seen again.

For me is at this point in his life that Sonny understood that the wolrd, was just not a place for him. He had to leave his wife, his son, because stability and reliability were just not possibile. On the other hand he can't even stay on the 'live the moment' attitude, incarnated by Arielle here in this episode. He can't because he still wants to live the values that prevent him from it. What's your destiny sonny?

This is one brutal ending. If you love Miami Vice, you will love this one. Just just wholesome stuff. Also ,very 1980s.
