I can bet money these OLD WORLD buildings (courthouse) were FOUNDED, and not built. They're all over America! Especially the Capitol buildings! Take some time and research

Is that Lookout Mtn.on the left?
@thepushercg8 күн бұрын
far left is South Pittsburg Mtn. at 3:51 mark you can see the blend of the two mountains the other one splits off and goes into Sequatchie valley which is on the Nashville side.. looking straight ahead of the bridge crossing over to the island is Sand Mountain, it becomes Lookout Mtn. at the 14:00 mark the house on the far right is where the Confederate then later Union fort stood.

I remember my dad and stepmother would have drinks in rock glasses under the seat while we drove to the airport or shopping mall, both were an hour away. It seemed normal to me but there wasn't the drunk driving accidents that there is today. I don't know why it was so different back then but it was.

Alabama, The best country group to come down the pike!! I also love The Oak Ridge Boys, and The Stayler Brothers. Top notch all.

I worked for the City at the first Big Spring Jam. I didn’t know that Rockin Jason D Williams was there… until you have seen him open the piano hood and play the piano hitting the notes with drums sticks…. You ain’t lived my friend. But it’s fun going back and seeing all this stuff and remembering it from my time with the city.

I became a Statler Brothers fan in the 1970's. Alabama and the Oak Ridge Boys were great, but the Statler Brothers were my favorite.

Real Music. I was 21 at the time. Raised in Boaz Alabama not far from Fort Payne. They were Awesome. My ex wife's Grandmother knew all of them but the drummer from working at the lunchroom at the Fort Payne High School.

My dad was there that night, him and his brother grabbed the guys gun and pointed it to the ceiling! He said Hank was on stage and pulled a gun and his wife was halfway out one of the windows!

Saw them in Salem Virginia in 1981 (or 82). George Strait opened for them! Caught a couple of other concerts too. Awesome group but Mark was handed a raw deal!

Always liked Alabama. No tabloid scandals and tons of great music and memories. Talked my soon to be hubby into taking me to see them in 1983. (Once he heard the lovely Juice was opening, he was sold, lol.) 40 years of marriage later, we still talk about the times we saw them. Restless Heart is a fave group of ours, too.

Well there's two sides to every story and before anyone goes poor drummer get your facts straight before you spread hurting words randy and the rest are generally good fellas and maybe there might be some truth to the story of longtime embezzlement and why a member isn't apart of the group and I don't know em but just seems theres two sides to every story and I think they wouldn't have sacked anyone without a good probable cause

I rode by there today and same thing, cars were parked. I still walked over there. Can't see much through all the fallen trees and overgrowth. Where was the pool at?
@highwayexplorerАй бұрын
@@Bk187O from where you were standing, it would have been to your left and in front of the house. There may be a retaining wall still standing that supported the dirt that had to be added.
@Bk187OАй бұрын
@@highwayexplorer That's crazy they added a pool. The mountain slope was so steep. It barely could of held the home! lol. It still was cool to see the stone fence and melted light poles.
