I always thought the same as you about the album epilogue until I wondered if it’s not meant to be a continuation of the story but more of a “imagine if it happened now….” Epilogue.

Eurovision was my special interest from 2017 until the cancellation of the 2020 contest diverted my attention elsewhere; so, basically all of high school except my freshman year. I followed the 2018 and 2019 contests front to back, and remember camping out in my parents' bedroom to watch the former. I participated in a lot of online spinoff contests with other eurovision fans and discovered new music through those. Yet what's really strange about that time in my life was that I was deeply into pre-2000 contests, especially the late 80s and early 90s. 1987 was my favorite year (also really liked 1986, 1988, and 1991), and Yugoslavia (!) my favorite overall country, though I was also a great fan of the Scandinavian countries, particularly Norway and Iceland. Strangely enough many of the Eurosongs I listened to back then still appear in my spotify rotation today...

@@Sammeep02 Great to hear! I’ve become increasingly frustrated with the politicisation in Eurovision and trying to work out how how I separate that from enjoyment of the music, especially if things continue the way they look for 2025… anyway, time will tell!
@Sammeep0212 күн бұрын
Yeah, I'm kinda glad I left before things got too political. Politics and entertainment don't mix, especially since the latter is a great way to take your mind off the former. On the other hand, if we could send things to our younger selves, I would have lost it if I'd seen that Luxembourg would return this year.

This is my local prehistoric site, & such a shame it is in such a state of neglect. I visited today & its barerly recognizable with so much overgrown ferns & bracken. The woods are lovely, & most interesting of all are stones at the far west of the woods, further towards the m6 past the barrow. The paths lead up to them just inside the woods at the far end. I've counted at least 9 large stones close to each other with numerous scattered small stones. Like you say, field clearance of what....?

This is amazing and yes, like you I really love it. The ancient Yes tree is absolutely gorgeous within and without! Wow! Interesting how the church built over the stones yet respected them enough to provide hatch doors to view and leave gifts of honouring on! @@ledacedar6253 hello! Thanks for commenting; I’m not sure of the sequence of incorporating the stones. I think they will have been a later discovery with the hatches added to aid understanding of the history of the site. And I can’t help wondering if there are other Sarsen stones beneath the church that aren’t in places easy to create access hatches to. There are some Sarsen stones next to the road joining the through-road. Things have been going on here for a very long time!

Hello From Central Kentucky. I remember “The Safety Dance” quite well and always enjoyed hearing the song and seeing the video back in the early days of MTV. The weird thing about seeing all of the dry masonry fences and countryside is that the landmarks could very easily have been filmed around the area where I live here in Kentucky which had its fair share of Scott’s-Irish people that settled this area even before Kentucky was a state. Thanks for your very nice video.
