I was hoping it was actually going to be 24th scale, but its bigger than the 18th scale Redcat Ascent 18 :( Right when you picked it up out of the box I was like, yeah, that's nowhere near 24th scale. My Micro B is 24th scale, that is not. After putting my Ascent 18 tires on my Losi Micro B I was thinking maybe I should build out a lightweight lcg scx24 with a higher speed gearing to do something like this, but the 2 speed gear and the extra size adding to the cost I might have to pass.

In fairness, the Redcat Ascent 18 is closer to 1/24 than it is to being 1/18.

Chaser is pretty cheap for the price but with the price, fms could have done better with chaser.

I went with a hobbywing quicrun 10BL120 with a 3652SL 4000kv motor and it’s a beast on 3s. I broke both front and rear diffs. Upgraded them to hardened steel and still good for now anyway lol

I finally gave in and I think I got the last one at the sale price for 399 anywhere online lol. I love the look of it and I ordered the light kit. I also ordered a 3S battery from Traxxas. All my other batteries are only 2s.

Awesome. Lucky you got that sale. The truck is quick with a 3s. I’ve only eaten up a spur gear which is only $3 to replace. That want my fault. The gear connecting to the drivetrain was loose chasing a lot of things to misalign. I am finishing a video of it to show and explain. Should be up soon. Thanks for your support. Hope you love it. We have really put our truck through its paces and the body and chassis has held up.
