Another great race! Love the slick bikes swaps, you really saved a lot of energy, especially on the downhill section of the jungle loop. Great control at the end, knowing you had the other guy in 3rd beat but I missed seeing your 🚀 sprint ! You always look so comfortable until I notice your HR 🤣!
@drumtoe2 күн бұрын
The new garage setup where you have your most recent bikes near the top make the swap a lot faster. With 2vs1, I knew I could pounce if Jones gave my teammate a challenge on the sprint.

What a painful race that was!! You did great though I love the race brain tactics starting from the back for the FTS on the first climb. Did you lose connection after that? Real shame but great effort getting back for some FAL points. I expect to see you wearing the Squirrel cap on your next race! Awesome racing again and a nice sprint at the end
@drumtoe3 ай бұрын
Definitely not a connection issue. I was gassed out and figured why push crazy hard to try to stay with those guys, when I could wait a little bit for a little pack, and a teammate, and effectively go for FTS points again. Turns out the guys in front finished 4+ minutes ahead. They would have eventually dropped me on the grade anyway.
@stripe22043 ай бұрын
@@drumtoe Yea, that makes sense after the huge FTS effort. I thought it would be bad luck if it was a technical issue.
