I have two of this style, and they're much better than the new 4 wheel ones. I AM changing the remote panel to a mount on the mower itself. I dont know how many times I have had it yanked off my four wheeler and caused me to have to order new cable. That's the one thing they did right on the newer version, but really blew it with the thinner metal, the mickey mouse crank to lower the deck, and those pitiful wheels. I will also say the 44" is just the right size. If you go bigger, its too much stress on your 4 wheeler and will cause overheating. I can mow an acre and a half per hour consistently. I've charged $60 an hour to mow pasture fields, and it makes for a good little payday on 15 acres. I have one with a 17 hp Jawasaki and one with a 20 hp Kohler. They are the king of the tow behinds, so find you one with the two wheels. DR customer service is excellent, too!

the tension adjustment on the chain is the WORST thing they ever did to chain saws. you used to have to hold the chain and the bar and then adjust the tension. now you have to hold the chain the bar and the DAMN cover. it makes it way harder, before you could see if the tensioner lug was engaged, not now its under the DAMN cover. i like my 35 but hate the adjuster, and all the new saws got the cheep adjuster. by the way isnt dolmar now miketa?

I have one. 2013 with the 15hp . You have to double cut or go really slow and it might cut clean enough. I have to jump the solenoid to start it and now the pto switch doesn't work. Then the belt.stretched and fell off. And the solenoid in the carb was stuck and it would.start. but I like.it when it works

I have a 2018 6.7, and had the same message. Just so happened I was going in for service for 2 days so I didn’t add coolant. Turns out the dealer said the egr cooler was leaking inside and evaporating the coolant. Took 72k miles before this happened. I had the 75k warranty, so they replaced it. It wasn’t a cheap fix, so I got lucky

There is a float over the sensor. If the float gets water logged, then the light goes on, with a good "level sensor".... I decided to live with a light and check the radiator...

353k miles...keep losing coolant. I fill it, light goes off, reservoir gets low, light comes back on....here's the kicker, it gets low enough to trigger the low coolant but it never gets empty. It reaches a certain point and stays there. Took it in for a pressure test...it's not losing pressure....or showing any leaks....any thoughts anyone?

Yep! Just been super busy with work. As soon as covid hit, everyone around here has been spending like there's no tomorrow. Couple that with an apparent disappearance of a good chunk of the workforce and it's been pretty much nonstop work for the past couple years. I plan on getting back on here in the near future, just straight up don't have the energy for it these days.

Get ready to hate your life with this POS no grease fittings on the wheels. Tow bar was welded by a blind Parkinson's patient The pin will break both on the height adjust and angle adjust The tow bar will crack Welds for both pivot bushings will break You will swear when attaching it with that garbage adjustable height pin setup. Those exposed wires will get pulled out and unplugged Have fun You mentioned welding, you'll be repairing this thing real soon.

It’s not an open system, it’s a sealed system. So while some may indeed evaporate, I highly doubt it’s being “lost”. It’ would simply travel somewhere else in the system and cool down, then turn back to liquid

Good god you need new battery cables, your charging volts is waaay to high and most likely this is why you have hard cold starting issues…the culprit is usually the transfer cable between the passenger side and driver side batteries …if you’re lucky you’ve just got corroding on the contacts or loose grounds, but if you don’t get it fixed say goodbye to your ecm or pcm

Any idea how these things would do with Kudzu vines. I’d love to get the specs on one of these and just fabricate my own. of course I’d have to research the parts needed and see if it’s worth fabbing one or buying one.

The duramax has a different glow plug setup then most diesels, it has a mesh and and glow plug design that allows them to heat up quickly (only using mesh) on cool days but uses a combination of both when it's freezing out and that's when you'll see the light on longer. In most applications the mesh is more then enough to start them up. The mesh works so well because it gives a grater surface area ther for better distribution of heat to the combustion chamber and atomized fuel to help I light under pressure.

You need to check for the correct part number with your dealer. 68163849AA is a 50/50 mixture with water. It has been replaced by part number 68163849AB. 68163848AA is the 100% concentrate. It has been replaced by part number 68163848AB. This coolant is called OAT technology. One must not mix OAT coolants with other earlier generation coolants. Check your manual - if it says OAT, this should be the right stuff. Switch from HOAT in 2013... check your manual. Hope this helps and nice video.
