I see Navi more like a responsible older sister who was assigned the task of guiding Link by the spiritually awakened deku Tree who is aligned with the royal family and Hylia because Link is too young to be responsible yet. I love the story arc in which Link is thrown into having responsibilities way too young and never truly recovers his childhood. So dramatic and traumatizing. The hero of time's story is truly a personal tragedy of sacrifice and no one understands him around him. He loses all sages, whom he was personally connected with, loses Navi, his best friend, loses the deku tree, his father figure, loses the zelda he came to save. And NO ONE knows his feats anymore when he leaves the adult timeline. No wonder the hero shade existed 100 years later in TP.

One thing in the Forest Temple that I never hear anyone talk about is how the final Poe Sister appears to be crying before you approach her. Is she crying for her lost sisters? Or is it another deception, trying to catch Link off guard?

im 29 this month and i grew up in the usa and went to yemen at age 11 i bonded with my cousins there because they had this game and i translated for them since i spoke english and we bonded over our love for zelda games i played wind waker first before going there and always wanted to play oot but never had an n64, i remember after the conversation with impa when we completed the shadow temple on how she thought link grew up to be a " fine hero" and your remarks regarding wanting to go on your own adventure in this vide, i wanna say i too was eagerly waiting my call to adventure since i was 11 and played this game. i used to pray so much to god to thrust me into an adventure that destined me to save the world i wanted to have that sense of heroism and feel like i was link so bad lol growing up was ....weird it was scary happy etc it was an amalgamation of many emotions but im glad to be here i took charge in my life when i was going through a hard time around 26 and in a way...i became my own hero i saved myself from a fate similar to some of my family members who are miserable and while im here watching this video it makes me happy for the future ahead too if youre in your teens and reading this or in early 20s lemme tell you as corny as it sounds be yourself and live your life forget what parents say what school says etc be your own hero

Iv been watching this for 3 nights now and just finished. I’m 32 and this game was my first exposure to an “epic” and it’s the most nostalgic thing I can think of. Excited to show my son when he’s old enough, even though we don’t really play games atm. Good video bro

My theory is that the fairies stay with the kokiri in the forest who do not age and stay alive forever. Navi had the unique mission to leave the forest with Link. This was essentially a sacrifice where she knew she would eventually die, so she left at the end when she knew her time was up. That's why the search in MM is so tragic...he is looking for his friend who died. But there is no real backing to that...just my own head canon

Never finished OOT even though I’ve started it a handful of times. I’ve watched hours of speedruns and playthroughs and documentaries on the game though and out of all of them your video finally made me understand why everyone calls it a masterpiece, beyond it simply being groundbreaking for its time. You also taught me about myself and life holy moly are you wise thanks for this

Navi never had a permanent loyalty to link as she was ordered by the Great Deku Tree to aid Link in his quest and when I think about it she was under no obligation to stay with Link after TGDT passed, just a moral one and she chose to stay with Link until the evil was vanquished by her own volition and the moment Hyrule was cleansed she finally felt free to roam the forest once again... This is her world, this is her kingdom as well after all.

The question was "Why does Navi leave at the end?" You can literally skip to "The ending" section of this video and know what the creator's thoughts about Navi leaving at 1:33:00. I was hoping he would have concluded with some in game hints or lore that could have explained Navi's departure, given that he literally summarized the whole game. But if he was only going to connect Sara to this why explain the whole game? Could have actually been a 5 minute video imo

55:50 You can use slay to kill monster on 3 hp with stone hp. You can defeat stone hp with blessing that kills all monsters in 5/6/7 turns and defensive setup. You can get infinite rerolls + 1 damage cantrip with sphere + blessing that changes empty sides to middle side (with that blessing sphere has 5 reroll sides immediatelly) You can get infinite rerolls with: bard + mimic + sphere + some other hero + growth on reroll side.

Damn, sounds rough. Yeah it’s hard to find the time to grind ranks, I’ve been hard stuck in gold too lol. Dark Magician is such a cool deck, I love archetypes with responsive removal and control elements. Apparently the Horus stuff is good in there now.

great video that mirror force call was hilarious only in gold you find people playing those cards and always is nice to find people who play other decks outside of the current meta also in the dark magician duel you luluwalilith couldn't negate chaos angel because when he is summoned using a light monster all synchro monsters he control are unaffected by monster effects

Haha yeah I feel you, card restrictions take a while to get used to. Witchcrafters are strong but tend to rely on other archetypes to gain more consistency and plays, which do get in the way of deck building since they also need their spells. I'd also not recommend removing reasoning, it's one of the only few one-card combos that witchcrafters have access to. Personally, I'm still using my 60 card witchcrafter deck even tho grass is greener is limited to 1, I still find it more consistent. I'd not really worry about exceeding 40 card count up to 50, it's not unusual for witchcrafter decks to do so. Go wild and crazy (in a literal sense lol) in deck building as I did so in the past (still do lmao).
@helthpotioncafe
@helthpotioncafe 3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the advice, this is definitely changing my perspective. I’m gonna play around with a slightly larger deck that has room for more of the cards I need, and see if keeping the ratios relatively the same as they would be in a smaller deck helps with consistency. It’s so tough to fit all the combo pieces and going second cards I want into a 40 card limit.
