I wish. Nothing can stop those fools. It does legitimately work birds closer. There are states that so strongly believe that this decoy will help reduce the number of cripples, they reworded their laws to make sure this decoy is legal in 2024. So, i guess, i could help with sky busters lol

Looks like an argument with a game warden. its not an electric call it is a mechanical call thats operated from an electric motor so therefore not electric even though its electrically driven mechanically operated.
@100outdoors9 Жыл бұрын
No reason to argue. Pop the call out and hand it to him. If he can call it electronic then write the ticket and talk to someone with more sense.
@That_native.Outdoors Жыл бұрын
Talked to game and fish out here in nm and they said no go since the mechnism that controls the components are run on electronics its still considered an electric call
@100outdoors9 Жыл бұрын
Always check with local game and fish. However, if mojos are legal in your state, these are as well, unless the law states that it can't be operated by remote control. The call is NOT electronic. Ultimately, you are responsible for what you use and knowing the law in your area. Best of luck.
@nunyabusin2 ай бұрын
Same with MN. This is gonna be illegal to use in any state that doesn't allow electronic calls. The MOJO comparison makes no sense given the wings spin and that's it.

Does that not fall under the electronic call category?
@dave8772 Жыл бұрын
You are correct. With the exception of during spring light goose and some early Canada goose hunts when all other waterfowl hunting seasons are closed, the use of electronic, amplified calls is prohibited in the U.S. and Canada.
@100outdoors9 Жыл бұрын
No, its a mechanical call. It is air crossing a reed just like in the call you blow.
@100outdoors9 Жыл бұрын
An electronic call replays a pre-recorded sound, produces a digital sound, or amplifies a sound. This decoy doesnt do any of those 3 things, therefore is not considered an electronic call. There is a can call mounted in the back of the decoy which is removable. The can call uses a weight to push air across a reed to generate sound.

Why do you need the jello ?
@100outdoors9 Жыл бұрын
I just use the jello for extra sweetness and fragrance. I wouldnt say that its needed. I hunt several hours from home and only get to hunt a few days at a time. I want to make sure i get their attention.
@chasmofsar2691 Жыл бұрын
Everyone starts with corn and adds sweet stuff. Meanwhile, I watch the hogs walk by it in favor of higher protein sources. That tells me everyone has their head stuck in the same place

Obviously you have no clue wtf ur talking about if everyone using the same thing with success
@chasmofsar2691 Жыл бұрын
@La Barbie If you have any understanding of animal biology it's pretty simple. Wild animals require different nutrients at different times of the year. A nursing mother needs more calcium. At times they need more protein, and at times they need more fat, and at other times they need more carbs. It depends on weather, breeding cycles, and a lot of other things. If you're feeding the same thing year round, you're limiting your results. It's that simple.

@@chasmofsar2691 Just shoot one leave it there a day or two and come back and watch more come to eat it. That is what I always do. Then again, it makes for a messier situation dragging them out. But you don't wanna eat these nasty ones we got around here.
@chasmofsar2691 Жыл бұрын
@forcemajeur.5138 I've heard of that. My dad had some hogs in a temporary pen together and a boar picked up a piglet and ate it alive while it screamed. I've tried to eat feral hogs from some areas that are absolutely inedible, you're absolutely right.

Some old orchard frozen juice concentrate really gives it a pungent fruit smell. The fruit smell is also more natural and not as artificial. I’m not sure if it makes any difference but it’s what I use now. Strawberry jello mix and apple juice concentrate or more strawberry were the golden ticket last year. I think it might be because you can get more fruit flavors in the mash because there isn’t as much water
