this is a failure mode of white LED lights. A white LED is simply a blue one that is coated with phosphor that glows white. The phosphor burns off after some time revealing the blue LED and they put out sort of a blue-purple light. Another failure mode is when they flash on and off.

Hey, 27th October that's my birthday. Yes, some dodgy drivers cut us off suddenly for no sensible reason and think we are mind readers, especially in roundabouts. But it's a good thing that dashcams like yours are very useful for concrete evidence and for insurance to prove that you are a careful driver. Arrogant and overconfident drivers should lose points on their licence and a ban for drink driving....

Oh yeah, and let's not forget the drivers that think they're Sonic The Hedgehog and just blatantly drive fast and cutting people off. It's not common in Coloardo, but the frustrating part is that you never know when its gonna happen, even outside of Colorado

ohh yea, I remember driving on I-294 around the city and its a construction zone with bad pavement and lane shifts and people are still doing like almost 100 despite there being signs saying WORK ZONE PHOTO ENFORCED
