Why aren't your video views increasing? And not reaching people? The reason is: 1. Your video is not being SEO properly 2. Your video is not reaching the right people 3. Not using video hash tags properly 4. Not sharing the video on social media There are a few more reasons. That's why your videos are limited to your channel. Can't get out In a word, your video is awesome. Such videos are in great demand. If you do these things correctly. Hopefully, you will get a lot of visitors. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.

The product demo itself is really quirky (they included an interesting storyline about a guy trying to sabotage/take over the company) and it's easy to play around with in the browser. Highly recommend giving the demo a go!

Thank you very much for the deep dive into swarm Carmen! :) Question: Can all users in swarm go LIVE as well (as they can in facebook groups)? Or do they have to record a video in-app? So far with ALL community platforms I found (except facebook) this is the problem: Users cannot go live. Only the admin. You talked about people being video-shy. What I have seen with our community members is: When they RECORD a video they often re-record because they think it is not good enough. We have seen that people who are video shy have learnt to overcome their fears the fastest, by just hitting the LIVE button and having to speak whatever comes to mind - compared to recording video. Do you know of any platform that has this feature, just like facebook has?
@CommunityCoachCarmen2 ай бұрын
Swarm says you can host live events and it keeps the recording so people who couldn't attend live could watch it later. It may be your best option - the only thing to be wary of is this platform prices for smaller live sessions (so if you wanted to host for more than 150 members in a live session you're at the higher price tier of $339/month but that also includes being able to white label everything and have your own app etc. Hope that helps - if you want more information or to see what live looks you can scroll down their website until you get to their live session section swarm.to/coaching
@CommunityCoachCarmen2 ай бұрын
Oh and just to reply to the video shy part of your comment - this platform definitely will help them as it's SO simple to use, it feels very similar to "live" features where people just talk and then send it off (everything feels seamless) - I think with the right community setup you could have members loving using this platform. Happy to chat more, feel free to DM me on twitter x.com/acommunitycoach

@CommunityCoachCarmen2 ай бұрын
It could potentially help you with it although at this stage I would definitely be encouraging heavy oversight by actual coaches to see how well the tool performs first. But in theory - you could feed the tool all the necessary information, how to respond to specific types of questions etc and it will automatically respond.

@CommunityCoachCarmen3 ай бұрын
My best advice is to join communities you are passionate about, participate as much as possible, add as much value as you can to the project and then reach out to the community team or founders and express your interest in working for them. There will be a lot of projects that would be happy to have you - you just need to prove your worth. Good luck!

It really varies depending on many factors. I've seen roles that pay anywhere from $45K USD per annum for junior roles or roles in small startups to well into the 6 digits (senior roles I've seen for $300-600K USD per annum for large companies).

Check out this newsletter I wrote - at the end I give some more tips on how to get into community management communitycoach.beehiiv.com/p/save-time-sanity-moderating-toxic-comments
@sociallyconstructedonline5 ай бұрын
I am DEFINITELY very interested in hearing a bit more about people's use of this tool especially where it pertains to these questions: " What is the rate of moderator-intervention incidents you've had to make before and after the ML/AI changes occured online (late April 2023 forward)?" Specifically: - Has it gone up for you? Has it gone down? - Have content- and ad-moderation moderation types usurped contributor-moderation interventions? - Have you seen higher or lower rates of bot traffic? What kind? - Have you had to implement any new features to deal with these trends? I think especially in the web3 space we really need to take time to answer these questions as we implement. the implementation pathway for ALL technology, tools, and solutions will always be, "benchmark what you are doing now, forecast how the tool will change things, build your implementation process around that, ad then review whether it worked or happened." Sidenote: It bothers me that they use the word 'copilot' following the gethub fiasco XD
@CommunityCoachCarmen5 ай бұрын
It would be interesting for sure to have a report on this! The challenge is the tools are so new (and constantly being improved) that I'm sure it will take time to figure out the answers to these questions, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be analysing and trying to figure it out!
@sociallyconstructedonline5 ай бұрын
@CommunityCoachCarmen Yeah, but most people using these tools don't know how to measure without the tool either. They can't Benchmark and forecast, and they don't implement these things consistently or slowly. Even if they did measure, I'd find the data dubious. :/

That is super helpful, do you think a new business without 24/7 coverage can address or respond enough for people to not feel left out?
@CommunityCoachCarmen8 ай бұрын
It depends on a variety of factors. Do people need a response ASAP? It's important you manage expectations according to what you can handle. Be as transparent as possible i.e. "It may take us 48 hours to respond as we are a small team, but if it's urgent please contact us at xyz". This type of messaging is key so people are not surprised if they don't get a response asap. It may also be helpful to create more resources made available to the community so they can "self serve" themselves better if you don't have enough resources to manage a community 24/7.

The whole nft idea is just an easy way to scam people. In the few years we have those nft there is no big mainstream platform for the masses because nft is always in the mainstream media tagged as scams
@CommunityCoachCarmen Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately with any new technology there are bad players who will try to take advantage of loopholes along with ride the excitement/confusion from those trying to adopt it. There are plenty of good players however in the NFT space who are excited for the potential of what the technology can offer - especially to empower their communities. It will take time to close these loopholes but there are people working on doing that to protect the masses better. But I appreciate your sentiment - it's very tough for a lot of people to adopt this technology when they are themselves burned in the process or they hear of others being scammed. Let's hope this experience improves greatly for everyone over time.
