The crucial bit missing here that I discovered later when looking at the Haynes manual was measuring the amount of preload and torque required to remove the pinion nut.
@ratchetman3606 Жыл бұрын
Yeah correct - to tighten the pinion nut in increments - was why I initially took off the break calipers, following the manual.

Edward Vth was alleged to have suffered from Osteomyelitis in his jaw. This would certainly have killed him in the 15th century. That is why Pretenders were always Richard of Shrewsbury . If this tale is true, it is far more likely to be him and not Edward.

Thanks for this, job for me tomorrow. Why did you remove the brake callipers, surely just letting the handbrake off would of done no?
@ratchetman3606 Жыл бұрын
I followed the Haynes manual that details a preload set up on the differential nut. . In order to do that the differential had to be able to turn freely. I in the end just tightened the nut to its original position.

When you turn off the sound it seems like heaven, but when you turn it on you hate LANDYS.........and the rest of humanity, I have the chainsaw started and I have threatened my neighbor. Looking forward to the DNA results from the remains they found at the Tower, and the others at the vault. I love the idea that one, if not both of the Princes of the Tower may have been spared a gruesome death. It's the mystery though, at the end of the day, that makes the whole thing.

Is John Evans really BURIED there, or is the tomb just an effigy with no bones actually inside?

It is strange that the church with the images of the Yorkist was never destroyed by Henry VIII. Cromwell and his men destroy so many great churches during the reformation. And that Image you said might be Richard III. I think it might be Richard of York, Edward's younger brother. I never believed that Richard III killed those boys, if they had been murdered someone with their own reasons did it. Like Margret Beaufort who wanted her son on the throne. I truly believe that if they had not been killed as the Tudors claimed, then Richard III moved them somewhere where they would be safe and out of sight. But if it is Edward V than the year of his birth was 1470. Or instead of the age being 41 it could reference something else like a code.
@MrW11YT7 ай бұрын
That is an intriguing theory. My 3 theories are that they 1) escaped, 2) were killed by Henry Tudor, or 3) somehow ended up in an alternate universe. I have a friend who looks a lot like Edward and Richard.
@BroonParker2 жыл бұрын
How can any conclusions be drawn from the few pieces of repositioned glass after the Reformation and an obviously shifted tomb? A missing letter and graffiti? Really? And the "disfigured" face is two separate pieces of glass, again repositioned. Nb the roses in the tiles at the East end have an inner and outer flower - in other words a Tudor rose. I might have taken this more seriously had you not tried to provide a soundtrack that sounds like a Hammer Horror Black Mass! I think I'll give your take on the Knights Templar a miss in light of this.
@geoffw85652 жыл бұрын
Nobody has said a ' conclusion ' as you infer has been drawn or reached. Potential pointers to what might have happened to the Princes ( or at least one of them ) This is not the end of the study but merely part of the process towards a hopeful conclusion ! The missing Princes Project !
@rogerfielding1117 Жыл бұрын
One conclusion must surely be that there were 3 Princes in the tower, '"so it was a little crowded". Two are interred in the wall at Westminster Abbey, and one here. Simples
@l.plantagenet Жыл бұрын
Forgive my ignorance, but who is the 3rd Prince in the Tower? I know of George Plantagenent's son, Edward, who Richard III had taken care of until Richard's death, was arrested and kept in the Tower for many years before King Henry VII had him executed. Was there someone else?
