What is the difference between the Contemporary III and the Contemporary IV?

The rize contemporary iii is discontinued. The IV replaced it. The main differences is the IV have underbed sensors, upgraded USB ports, but doe not have the lounge feature. Plus, the Rize Contemporary IV has pillow tilt where as the III does not have that feature.

Package was deceiving as I wondered how it fit in the box. The entire bed was inside the headboard 😳 The back of the headboard has a zipper to allow the bed to be disassembled and put back in it if you were to move. Currently I have all the instructions and tools that came with it stored in there. It would even make a great spot to hold valuables! Assembly was straight forward and easy. It took my friend and I less than 20 minutes to put it together. One piece of advice is to lay the slats in place BEFORE you tighten the side rails all the way. It’s not impossible or hard to get the slats in if you tighten first but it would have been easier for sure.*

It will be very big and bulky since it is not built just for platform beds that are low profile. Plus, I do not know if it is zero clearance.

the model year shown in this vid (2020 or older Comfort Elite) cannot, it must be elevated, including removing any slats or box springs; its motion system extends lower than the surrounding frame. You also can't put anything under it, you risk crushing what you put under and/or damaging the motion components. They changed the Comfort Elite in 2021 to be 'zero clearance'; all components fit within its frame, so you CAN just drop it on a platform without any legs or spacers.

Yes, we took the photos from a single base but we carry split queen which are two 30x80 bases. Those models came in split queen size. We will make a new video soon on the new bases.
