Still trying to understand the visualizer on this plugin, there is literally nothing in the manual about it or anywhere on the internet. Sometimes it says its clipping under "Clipped" but peaks are nowhere near ceiling. Sometimes it shows red lines coming down at the top but reports that nothing is being clipped.

I'm new to Melodyne and one problem I've been facing with using Melodyne as a plugin in Logic (normal plugin or ARA) is that the location of the playhead in Melodyne appears to be slightly ahead than the playhead (and therefore also the playback of the audio) in Logic, which makes editing very annoying. That does not seem to be an issue in this video. My computer has more than good enough specs to run Melodyne, and I've already tried messing with Logic settings like I/O buffer size and low latency mode, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else ever had this problem and knows how to fix it? I've only ever found fixes for when Melodyne lags behind, but not when it moves too fast (visually). Has anyone else ever had this problem and knows how to fix it? Thanks

EDIT: I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER FINALLY AFTER HOURS OF RESEARCH. IT IS STUPID. To fix this issue, go into your Logic Pro Audio Settings and change the number of Processing Threads to 4 or 6 (or more depending on your computers processing power). My computer is great but I guess it was working too hard and using too many threads, which is what lead to the lag. Hope this helps anyone who runs into a similar issue. GUIDE: Logic Pro -> Settings -> Audio -> Devices -> Processing Threads (change dropdown from Automatic to something around 4 or 6)

The beginning of the video says that this is advanced. The end of the video explains how when you turn volume up, the output is louder, and when you turn the volume down, it gets quieter. The instructor has a very nice voice and pace of delivery, but the content here could have been more useful.

Thanks for this! I assume this could be used to get Strike to follow an entire song that is “off grid”, with constant tempo shifts.

This plugin is brilliant… criminally underrated. Mapping the intensity and complexity to wheel controllers to create a dynamic performance adds a lot of realism. Other virtual drums have tons of kits, but Strike has so much control over timbre, tuning, complexity etc of each individual drum. For realistic performance, Strike is a good choice.

How do I break the drum parts out in Pro Tools? Last week, I made a beat and wanted to break all of the battery parts out into their own tracks for mixing. Sooooo I mad the full drum part in one instance of battery, then I created 5 more battery tracks and copy pasted the individual midi tracks into the individual battery tracks... Problem is, my CPU struggled with 6 instances of battery funning lol... I like making beats in Reason and FL studio because they make it easy to split drum tracks from Battery or SliceX or MPC... Pro Tools? Not so much. I guess, since Battery has effects on every cell, they want you to do allllll of your mixing inside Battery. Then I guess the Pro Tools track that its on would act like a drum buss??? But nahhhh, I don't want to use their effects, I want to use my Slate Digital or Waves or SSL or UAD plugins... Lol....

The only cue placements I've had had this plugin on it. I'm really surprised, but a fact is a fact. Easy to route, easy to "play". The fills? At a touch. It's old, but it still works

I hate to be a pedant (that's a lie; I love it really!) but you are only using one audio I/O interface here. I am specifically looking to use multiple physical audio devices (my system sound and my Rode USB microphone, to be precise) at the same time. This video's title raised my hopes only to have them dashed to the ground!
