14.8mm thickness is a non starter for me. They need to find a new movement and bring the thickness to 12.5mm

I bought the Mars and the Moon might have to get this one too. It's not worth the price due to its cheap plastic feel, strap being short on one side it's horrible to put on, but I can afford it compare to the real Omega, which I will never buy

I think this is a great watch. No offense to the Rolex fan boys, but Rolex doesn't build anything as interesting as this watch. The movement is superior to Rolex without question, and the design is beautiful.

Hmm- after reading the title and esp hearing you say that you will explain how complication works, i was hoping to find the explanation behind the flipped " mask" covering Moon. While in white version all is logical- you see full face of moon when moon is full ( 15 days old on indicator), on the black version flipping of the 'mask" while leaving the numerical markers in the same position does not make sense. When there is full Moon shining 15 days old, it is covered by mask on black version. There is no explanation for this on Swatch website. The only half baked explanation i can come up with sounds kind of like that. 'Because this is New moon edition , the indicator is fully visible( 100% new moon) when it is nonvisible new moon in the skies. And the New moon indicator is not visible when it is 0% New moon ( ie. Full Moon is brightly shining). This is counterintuitive and confusing as hell if you actually plan of using that complication

Rolex has had its day; it was a good run, but it's becoming obvious that it's over. Manipulated prices and overpriced, boring pieces with little to no new innovation are evident. If you want to protect your money from inflation, buy Bitcoin. If you're super wealthy and like the look of a Rolex, then buy one, but don't rely on it holding great value.

Yes, I have bought from AMZWATCH more than once. I even bought a new Omega Speedmaster which came with the fancy box and packaging. I am thrilled with all my purchases here. I would purchase from AMZWATCH again for sure.

In the Uk, Ads have changed their attitude. I have been in 3, all friendly, drinks, trying in various watches and even offered to sell me one there and then. I think by and large at retail, Rolex are good value. Well finished and robust. (gmt for 9k) its the inflated secondary prices that offered poor value. Happily, this is definitely calming down, with a few exceptions. Steel Daytonas continue to have high premiums, and I'm not a fan either. A speedmaster is as well finished and is just as Robust. But a speedy is now close to 8k. JLCs and IWCs are all at Rolex prices. In conclusion, if you can buy close to retail price (except gold, which are overpriced) then Rolex still offers good value for money watches.

I think world timer or gmt is the best function a mechanical watch could provide. 2nd is timer function on the submariner(bezel). 😂
