On the surface yes, they seem like horrible ungrateful people. But it's her own obsessiveness with perfection that has caused them to be so resentful.

Her husband didn’t even try to please her in bed. She didn’t have her first orgasm until their marriage was over. Bree was stuck with such a shitty family and none of them cared about her at all dude
@chupachuuups706 Жыл бұрын
Half right. Bree was a control & clean freak. She wanted to be so up class & fancy. The kids here are spot on & 100% valid. But yeah, Rex never giving her an O is intriguing; I think she never felt safe enough to let go & surrender, likely bc of her ocd instead of Rex not caring about her. Just look when her & Rex were getting it on & he put a burrito on the nightstand buy Bree couldn’t get it out of her overthinking mind. Women must destress/not be anxious in order to have & enjoy the session, but she’s beyond that. Good show, I remember when netflix had it a decade or more ago.
@Hannah-c8o Жыл бұрын
@@chupachuuups706 you’re definitely right about that. She and Rex probably got married for the wrong reasons in the beginning, and her kids are upset she’s not like the other moms they’ve met/know of. It can come across as them being ungrateful for their privileged lives over their mother’s personality quirks, but it probably runs deeper and the characters are too young to know how to express their frustration in a constructive or non-hurtful way

One of the few Bree scenes where I can not completely indentify with her. I would never make complex hâute-cuisine dishes on a daily basis, wasting 3 hours over and over again. And I would never serve somthing like that to my or any other children. Of all my friends, I am the one consideres to be Bree, the one with the legendary cooking skills, but the main reason for that is I take normal dishes (like Spaghetti Bolognese) everyone likes and everyone eats ... and enhance it to perfection. And everyone says: "I am speechless. The best I ever ate." That's the art. I love watching people eat my food.
