90% of the time Lean is hurry up. Also this is a bit out of date as having excess inventory is not viewed as wasteful as much as prepared now. Especially inventory with long supply chains.

An excellent success story, Susan. I like your example of HR using Lean to make sure everyone has all the critical information, particularly in offboarding. Inspiring to hear about employees' Lean commitment.

Waste elimination seems eternal, makes no sense if you ignore How your Value Flow (VSM), You should focus on Speed (80/20 Rule) !! Make the material Flow...
@gertoberholster53 жыл бұрын
Great comment love it! Lean hits the 80:20 by reveling the highest amount of waste (bad actors).

You are Japanese and German combined reincarnated Paul (compliment). This is the best explanation of lean that i have ever seen. Toyota does it well but this tops even that!
@chubbyguyschannel68643 жыл бұрын
try his principles if your an ISO9001 facility....no can do, have to go through written procedure changes...so it is a good thought - LEAN - but it is usually not that simple....what about an employee making a change on the spot that results in a safety issue???Doesn't talk about that...just a thought.

this is evidence that ISO is a racket, not that being lean is difficult.
@gertoberholster53 жыл бұрын
It was so easy for me as a production manager to bypass ISO TS16949, ISO 14001 its actually funny. But lean cannot be bypassed it shows on the bottom line. Lean improves quality which is automatically safer. But we take your point serious I dont mean to criticize sir! Good question and comment.

Have some curiosity about the world, and do a little research before making a snap judgement. Paul Akers has positively influenced hundreds of thousands of people and made a real dent in the universe. Respect for his people is a large component of his thinking. I encourage you to read his books. Start with 2 Second Lean.

Setting up new propensities through practice is completely key. Constant improvement through the methods and routine with regards to Toyota Kata is critical. Managers Support, Teaching, and Promoting through a structure of Self-Directed Teams and you presently have the mix encouraging the new and required propensities for consistent improvement as a culture. @robertbaird10
