So a property, valued by the county property administrator, at $400,000 would be less than $4,000/yr in property taxes for this tax district in Russell County. Of course this doesn’t take into consideration any tax exemption you may qualify for.

The current owners do still use part of the barn for storage, tool shed and vehicle parking.

I do wish Kentucky would vote to remove that. However, I know a state is going to get their taxes one way or another. For instance higher sales tax, property tax, additional vehicle taxes, etc that will be higher in other states.
